Hoping you won’t mind of I ask a rather personal question…will Henry receive immunizations? I’m a new mom and a little nervous about my little guys month immunization ‘cocktail’. It seems as though you do a great job researching what’s best for Henry, so I’d love to hear your opinion on this.

I highly suggest reading this book: http://www.amazon.com/What-Doctor-About-Childrens-Vaccinations/dp/0446677078 It’s a great read (by a MD) and talks about how the CDC’s schedule is driven largely by compliance, not necessarily what is best for the child’s health. We will be giving Henry vaccinations but at a delayed rate. And he’ll never get more than one at a time. He’s waiting until Month 4 to get any (but he isn’t going into daycare – totally different story). Our ped is 100% behind this so I feel comfortable following his advice.

Silly question….where did you get Henry’s slipper/sock/shoe things? They look cozy and like they stay on pretty well. My 3 month old could use something like that while we’re around the house. Baby socks are such a pain!!
