There is some truth to that families and boundaries thing! I think every newly married couple needs to read Boundaries by Cloud & Townsend. It’s a life changer!

  • Baking 'n' Books July 15, 2011, 9:53 pm

I actually wouldn’t kid about the “families and boundaries” one – very real to me! And honestly I don’t know how you manage your own situation at times! 😉

Love this list! Watermelon and basil..? Who knew…reminds me I’ve yet to get some melon though! Keep forgetting at the store.

But Movies and Wine – oh yes. But I would have to add a third. I apologize – but chocolate (or ice cream..or both?) should be in there too…it’s definitely a threesome.

  • Holly @ The Runny Egg July 15, 2011, 10:02 pm

Dinner + Movie! That is what we did tonight.

  • Ricki July 15, 2011, 10:20 pm

Aww, your puppies are so cute! Your list reminds me of the new Blake Shelton song “Honeybee.” I would have to add bubble bath + a good book to the list. 🙂

  • Shannon July 15, 2011, 10:28 pm

Did you get Maggie and James at the same time?

    • CaitlinHTP July 16, 2011, 2:20 pm

Nope, we got maggie first and james six months later. but when we introduced maggie and james at the pound, it was seriously like love at first site. they were all over each other. i get so mad when people say they are brother and sister because they are lovers 🙂
