I’ve been a faithful reader for over 5 years but never comment. I had a miscarriage around the time Henry was born and now I’m due any day with twins. It was such a delight to me to read about how your lives changed and to see Henry grow. I held faith that our time would come.Now we’re just days (or hours!) from meeting new family additions of our own. I just wanted to say thank you for the clear, relevant and real sharing of your daily lives. The whole pregnancy/birth process is so emotional and complicated, it was nice to read about someone else’s experience. You help bring a positive, non judgmental approach. If not for your exposure to some thoughts or ideas, I may have never been made aware. Your work brightens lives. Thank you again.

Yay congrats!!! I just had my first…a girl surprise 5 weeks ago so I was hoping you’d have one too! Can’t wait to follow along your journey and “meet” your little one. Do you plan on pumping exclusively again? I thought about it and found your old posts very helpful. Your honesty about raising kids is so so helpful so keep it coming! holding my day old granddaughter on my chest is one of the most precious feelings in my life. Memories of newborn Caitlin and her first born, Henry were just as wonderful. I am so fortunate to have such a lovely family which , of course, includes my special son in law, Kristien!
