Eating Out X Two

It’s truly Fall!  Time for boots and sweaters and drinking warm cups of coffee while going on long, lovely walks.

So fun to have Megan visiting!  Can she please, please live in my office forever?

After getting a lot of work done this morning (Megan went on an informational job interview), we met back up for lunch and shopping.  Today was a perfect example of blowing my budget.  Grr.  Oh well.

Beer 4 Lunch!

(Sweetwater 420)

And food, too.  :)  A big Napa Cabbage with feta, onions, cucumbers, apple, corn, and a giant black bean burger on top.  Everything was smothered in balsamic, too.

After eating, we explored a little gift shop and walked around my neighborhood.

Time for dinner!

To save money, Megan and I split this vegetable lo mien with added tofu.

Annnnd then we saw The Social Network, which was SUCH a good movie.  I loved it and highly recommend it to… well, pretty much everyone with a Facebook account :)  It was pretty cool to think about my sophomore year of college and realize that Mark Zuckerberg was a sophomore at the same time!  I remember when we got “The Facebook,” and it was such a big deal.  I can’t believe he ended up the youngest billionaire ever.

Now, we’re all sitting on the couch, and I’m munching on toast

Going to do a long run with Megan in the morning!

  • Jenny November 4, 2010, 10:20 pm

I’m a junior in college, I should probably get on my million-dollar making idea already! That toast looks really yummy by the way haha.

  • Michele @ Healthy Cultivations November 4, 2010, 10:21 pm

I want to see The Social Network too. I was a latecomer to Facebook (and now don’t even use it) and didn’t even have a page until 2008.

  • Sarah November 4, 2010, 10:22 pm

Oh man – I remember when Facebook was only open to certain schools. It was a BIG DEAL with facebook came to my college.

I also remember when the wall was one thing and anyone could go in and change it – do you remember that?

  • Tina @ Faith Fitness Fun November 4, 2010, 10:26 pm

Sounds like a fantastic day! And it is so crazy to think that he is our age. I remember I was a senior in college when FB came out.

  • Mary @ Bites and Bliss November 4, 2010, 10:26 pm

  • Tab - Just Weighing In November 4, 2010, 10:30 pm

  • Kelly November 4, 2010, 10:33 pm

Not gonna lie, when I first saw the title of this post I read it as “Eating out for Two” As in eating for two because you are pregnant. Clearly not the case. Apparently I have babies on the brain as much as I know you have babies on the brain. Whoops. 🙂

    • Caitlin November 4, 2010, 10:35 pm

I promise I will announce pregnancy in a much more epic way.

  • chelsey @ clean eating chelsey November 4, 2010, 10:40 pm

Sounds like a fun day – and I had to laugh at the comment about the title being about prenancy. What is it with bloggers lately? I feel like everyone has baby fever! Not that I”m complaining, but for real! 🙂

  • Charlie November 4, 2010, 10:54 pm

I am heading to the movies tomorrow, we don’t know what to see, maybe we should see The Social Network, it would be interesting to see how Facebook was developed.

  • Maura November 5, 2010, 1:14 am

Loved the movie…minus all the rips on BU girls!

  • maya @ finding balance in tokyo November 5, 2010, 3:07 am

Yay fall! But no boots for me for a while.. apparently I have been running too much and not doing enough yoga lately. whoops!

I remember when it was “The Facebook” too. I think I was actually interested in joining it back then, but it wasn’t available at my college. By the time it had opened up to the public I’d totally lost interest, then it exploded all over the place and I felt odd joining late.. and now? It kinda scares me and I’ve become a hold out. eek. ;D

  • Erica November 5, 2010, 6:48 am
