Fabulous idea!!! I love the first shirt 🙂 Actually I love all of them. I think you should put the saying on the 3rd one on your marathon shirt… or maybe does this marathon make my butt look fast? Ok..maybe I’m not the best person to come up with ideas for you 😉

  • Darci October 15, 2010, 9:30 am

  • Natalia - a side of simple October 15, 2010, 11:06 am

Aw wish I was on twitter. Great contest, though, and even better t-shirts! So cute. Hope you’re feeling better, Caitlin!

  • Mary (What's Cookin' with Mary) October 15, 2010, 11:27 am

I really like all of them!! Esp the ‘does this make my butt look faster’ !!! 😀 😀 This made me smile !!!

  • Janelle October 15, 2010, 11:41 am

    I don’t tweet, but I like the shirts 🙂
Your marathon shirt should say something inspirational – along the lines of “if I can do it, so can you” – because that is how your blog makes me feel.

  • Jasmine @ Eat Move Write October 15, 2010, 11:49 am

I already follow, but I tweeted the #mirrormantra thing. Love it!

  • Megan (Braise The Roof) October 15, 2010, 11:53 am

Cute shirts! Hope you’re starting to feel better- my recommendation: run to the nearest vitamin/health food store and pick up 2 things: 1. Elderberry syrup (make sure thyme is in the ingredient list, too) and 2. oil of oregano. The Elderberry boosts your immune system and calms and the oregano is a natural anti-biotic and anti-viral. Take the “maximum” dosage for each and they’ll kick the bug out of your system, I promise!

  • Leanne @ Simplicitlee October 15, 2010, 11:53 am

Love the shirts idea! I think for your marathon shirt you should write something inspiring for the other runners to see while they are running… 🙂

  • Katie @ Her Inner Shine October 15, 2010, 12:00 pm

I already follow but I twitted as well. I think all of those shirts are adorable but I really love the first one. They are so cute Caitlin. What a great idea 🙂

  • Astrid October 15, 2010, 12:10 pm

You should write this on your shirt: People think running 26 miles is crazy. I guess we are crazy! And AMAZING!
Seriously, running a marathon is a huge deal. It is not something that I personally want to do, because I am allergic to running and dread long runs, but I respect those that work so hard towards the goal. Yes, I think you are all crazy, but truly amazing.

  • Kelly October 15, 2010, 12:32 pm

Love the shirts…I wish I weren’t so anti-twitter! I may have to just buy one from you 🙂

Marathon Shirt suggestion — put something on there that inspires you. Do you have a running mantra or something you repeat in your head when a run hurts like heck? I live in DC, and one of my very favorite shirts I ever made was for last year’s Cherry Blossom 10-miler. I put the DC skyline on the front and put “I Run this Town” on the back. It still makes me smile.

  • Kjirsten- Balanced Healthy Life October 15, 2010, 12:39 pm

Love the shirts! I’ll have to log into Twitter! : )

  • Lauren October 15, 2010, 12:43 pm

aww i dont have a twitter! i can’t read that “butt” shirt, what does it say?!

i really like shirt #1. is there a buy option?

  • Kristina October 15, 2010, 1:37 pm

Love the shirts!!! Can they be purchased as well??

  • Natalia October 15, 2010, 1:45 pm

All of these shirts are so cute, especially the last one! I really hope I win!!
As for a slogan on your marathon shirt how about something funny like: “Channel your inner Kenyan” OR “Run faster, Chuck Norris is behind you”

  • caronae October 15, 2010, 1:50 pm

    I follow! @caronaeh

  • caronae October 15, 2010, 1:52 pm

    I also tweeted! @caronaeh

  • Shannon October 15, 2010, 3:27 pm

Since you were contemplating Halloween attire, maybe you should write “Too fast for my costume!”

  • Jenny @ The Healthy Teenager, green tea and yoga, not alcohol and parties October 15, 2010, 3:40 pm

Done and done! (I hope I’m eligible living so far away :/)

  • Erika @ Food, Fitness, & Fun October 15, 2010, 7:15 pm

    2 marathon shirt suggestions…

“This seemed like a really good idea 3 months ago!”

“The only rule about running a marathon is you do not talk about running a marathon”

I too am running my 2nd marathon on Nov 7th. Best of luck to ya!
