Next Saturday, I’m doing a 15-mile trail race with a bunch of bloggy friends.  Today’s long run was the last trail run I’ll be able to fit in before the big day!

IMG_9138

Last year, we did the race at a fun, casual pace.  We want to keep the atmosphere relaxed again this year – but we also want to beat our 2:56 time.  If today is any indication, that shouldn’t be too hard!

I met up with Kelly and Sara in lovely Moss Park.

IMG_9134

I was happy to see they both looked very enthusiastic about the run.  To be honest, I wasn’t really feeling it at first.  Having two upbeat ladies to run and chat with definitely helped.

IMG_9135

IMG_9137

The run started off well, but then I stepped in a GIANT puddle around Mile 2.0 and completely soaked my sneakers… all the way down to the socks.  I took my socks off and ran with them on my hand for a little bit to try them out.  I somehow managed to escape getting massive blisters – whew!

I think I need to start bringing a change of socks with me on trail runs, especially when it’s wet out.  I always land myself in a puddle!

During the run, I ate all these Shot Bloks (about 200 calories):

IMG_9131

We finished up 13.0 miles in 2:14 – an excellent time, especially for a muddy trail run!  We were so thrilled.  We’re definitely going to beat last year’s time! Everyone in the group is so much stronger than before, too.

My sneakers are destroyed (these are my old road shoes that I wear on the trails… I don’t have trail specific runs, but I don’t want to dirty up my nice sneakers):

IMG_9139

Post-run, I raced home and ate some almond buttah straight from the jar.  I probably had 2 tablespoons.

IMG_9144

And then I made a delicious lunch FILLED with veggies.

IMG_9146

I made a wrap with a mashed sweet potato, sprouts, and baked beans.  I love the La Tortilla Soft Wraps brand.

IMG_9148

Trust me – this combo works.

Plus, an entire bag of roasted parsnips and a bunch of Brussel sprouts.

IMG_9149

I’ve got to clean the apartment!  Angela and her hubby are arriving soon.  I think it’s funny that I’m having a blogger stay with me and feel so comfortable with it – it’s like we know each other, even though we’ve never met!  I hope she turns my kitchen into a Glo Bar bakery and makes me lots of delicious treats.  🙂

Stay tuned for the shenanigans!

Do you have a 13.1, 26.2, 70.3, or 140.6 (Half Marathon, Marathon, Half Ironman, and Ironman) bumper sticker on your car?  Would you put one on if you complete one of those races?  I had a 13.1 on my car for the longest time, and immediately covered it up with a 26.2 when I did a marathon (equally proud of both distances; I just don’t love lots of stickers). I would feel SO badass if I could put a 70.3 or 140.6 sticker on, too.  😉

Even though I have run half marathons and a few marathons, I don’t have a sticker on my car. I am sort of anti car sticker for myself, but I like seeing them on other cars. I do love buying the post marathon apparel though! And there is a lot of cute stuff this yr for Boston! 🙂

  • Beth @ Beth's Journey to Thin March 26, 2010, 12:51 pm

I don’t have one because I’ve never done a Half Marathon but I’m looking for one to sign up for, and will definitely put it on my bumper when I do it!! Trail runs look so fun, there are a ton of trails in DC that I need to check out.

Also, i stopped by Java Green yesterday but got overwhelmed with the menu so didn’t get anything! I’m gonna figure out what I want before I go next time.

  • Freya @ Brit Chick Runs March 26, 2010, 1:01 pm

Oohhh I’d LOVE a bumper sticker for the half marathons I’d done, that’d be so cool! Congrats on your run too 🙂
I had a big wrap today too – my first (successful) wrap ever! Hooray 🙂
    Have a good day 🙂

  • Jessica @ Jessica Balances March 26, 2010, 1:03 pm

I am definitely getting a sticker for my car as soon as I run the half marathon I’m scheduled to
run in April!!! I’m not running the race for anyone but me, but I still want to feel awesome whenever I look at that sticker and remember what I accomplished.

  • Britt @ Runnerbelle March 26, 2010, 1:07 pm

I have a 26.2 that they were giving out as freebies at the Boston Marathon last year. I like that its the mileage and the race on it. 🙂

  • Karen @ Not Just Celery March 26, 2010, 1:09 pm

Great job with your run! I like how you can admit you weren’t looking forward to it much but then still did it and kicked butt! I wasn’t feeling my schedule high intensity interval run this morning but I still got to the gym and did it and felt awesome when I finished!

PS I know in the past you’ve said sometimes you struggle to eat your veggies and I’ve noticed lately it seems like you are getting them in no problem!

    • Caitlin March 26, 2010, 1:22 pm

good job on your workout, too!!

      i feel like i’ve turned a veggie corner 🙂

  • Lisa March 26, 2010, 1:10 pm

I love the trail run pictures you take. I’m excited for the weather to improve here in Portland so I can try trail running! If I completed a half marathon, I would definitely put a sticker on my car. Where do you get one?

    • Caitlin March 26, 2010, 1:22 pm

a local runner’s shop, but you can order them online too!

  • Jessica @ How Sweet March 26, 2010, 1:10 pm

Can’t wait to hear about your meetup with Angela!

  • Heather (Heather's Dish) March 26, 2010, 1:11 pm

if i ran those races i TOTALLY would! what’s the use of running them if you can’t brag about it a little 😉 hope you and angela have fun…i can imagine we’re going to get some fun posts tonight 😉

  • Kelly March 26, 2010, 1:11 pm

I woudl totally sport a 13.1 or 26.2 sticker. It’s an achievement! How’s the chaffing?

    • Caitlin March 26, 2010, 1:22 pm

      ughhh i chafed everywhere.

  • Sammi March 26, 2010, 1:11 pm

I have a bumper sticker that says “My sport is your sports punishment” and I LOVE it! Then I have one that says “Peace love run” with a finger peace sign, heart, and the number “13.1” that I’m going to put on my car as soon as I finish my first half marathon! I don’t want to overload my car with bumper stickers or anything but I can’t wait to put on the 13.1 sticker!

    • Julie March 26, 2010, 2:30 pm

omg, I love that bumper sticker! It’s so true…running was a punishment when I played field hockey. Now I love running, but back then I hated it!

      • Sammi March 26, 2010, 2:33 pm

I actually liked the running when I tried out for tennis! I should have taken it as a clue to do running as a sport and not just training!
I would never be able to do field hockey! Too much pain for me! 🙂

  • Carol March 26, 2010, 1:14 pm

I don’t currently have a sticker on my car, but I used to have a Runner Girl logo (till my window busted out – must find another). I do wear a pendant though that is a runner with 42.2 (Canadian version of 26.2) on it. Before I ran my first marathon last year, it used to be 21.1 (Half). It has never come off since I put it on, the moment I crossed the finish line, May 3, 2009.
    Good luck next week.

  • Julie March 26, 2010, 1:15 pm

I would lean the bumper sticker against my back window from the inside…I don’t want to deface my pretty vehicle! I am super anal like that.

  • Julie @ Peanut Butter Fingers March 26, 2010, 1:15 pm

nope – not a big sticker fan over here! i always like seeing other people’s stickers though. i have instant respect for them!

  • Amy @ Second City Randomness March 26, 2010, 1:15 pm

As soon as I’m free of all my pesky injuries, I’m taking down a half marathon and getting one of those stickers asap! 😉

  • Megan @ Eat.Scrap.Run March 26, 2010, 1:16 pm

I am holding out for a 26.2 sticker some day. Although I do think that 70.3 or 140.6 would be awesome too!

  • clay March 26, 2010, 1:18 pm

I would put a sticker on my car if i completed a 100 mile race but that’s about it. And you will rock your time from last year! Nice run! And I cannot stand getting soaked in the very beginning of a run. That is the worst! Good luck at the race!

  • Jess March 26, 2010, 1:18 pm

I can’t WAIT to get a 13.1 sticker after my half on May 1!!

  • Becky @ flybynyght March 26, 2010, 1:18 pm

Can’t wait to do my first trail run in a couple weeks!!!
I never realized that there were 13.1 stickers!!! I could be rockin that now – but I think I’ll wait until I can do the 26.2 – won’t be for a loooong while though 🙂

  • Lauren @ Eater not a runner March 26, 2010, 1:19 pm

I had bumper stickers on my old car, but now that I have a cute mini cooper I don’t want to stick anything to it 😉

    Great job on the run!!

  • Naomi March 26, 2010, 1:21 pm

I’m so excited to see you and Angela together, you must be my two favourite bloggers 🙂

Tell Kelly I miss her blog too – but it’s nice to still see her around.

    • Caitlin March 26, 2010, 1:24 pm

i think she might come back to bloggin occasionally!

      • Julie @SavvyEats March 27, 2010, 9:35 am

I saw that on Twitter, and was so excited!!

  • Nancy March 26, 2010, 1:24 pm

My BF doesn’t have any stickers on his car, but he got the Ironman tattoo 2mths after he completed his!!

If I did a half marathon, or even a marathon, I’d definitely put stickers on mine!

  • Molly @fuelherup March 26, 2010, 1:25 pm

Since I regulary run half marathons I would totally put a 13.1 sticker on my car.
Personally though, in my crazy perfectionist head, I like to wait until it’s something I can do with regularity or with regular ease. I waited to gt a 5k sticker until I became one of the top 5k runners in my home state and same with the 10k (I told you, crazy!). I don’t even know if it’s possible to do 26.2 miles with any regularity or regular ease haha – I guess it’s a different mentality with middle distance!

  • Robyn March 26, 2010, 1:26 pm

Do you always have sweet potato on hand or is there some kind of already made brand that you have?

    • Caitlin March 26, 2010, 1:27 pm

i just stab a sweet potato with a fork, wrap it in a wet paper towel, and microwave for 6 minutes.

  • Rae March 26, 2010, 1:27 pm

    Hell yeah! I have a 70.3 and a 26.2…..hopefully a 140.6 in July is coming up!

  • Carolyn @ lovinlosing March 26, 2010, 1:27 pm

Do they make 3.17 stickers? 😆

  • jessica g March 26, 2010, 1:29 pm

i am an anti car sticker/bumper sticker kind of person. however…. i’m running my vary first half marathon in october. i’ve only run one 5k and one 4 miler race to this point and i am so excited to be able to flaunt that sticker like no ones’ business!

  • Wendy March 26, 2010, 1:29 pm

I have a 13.1 sticker that I need to put on my car. My hubby gave it to me for my b-day in Nov, but I want to clean my car thoroughly before I put it on! The weather has been so wet and gross this winter!

That looks like a beautiful place for a trail run!

  • Caroline March 26, 2010, 1:30 pm

I don’t generally like stickers, but I bought a 13.1 sticker at the Disney princess expo and put it on as soon as I got home! There’s someone in my neighborhood with both a 26.2 and a TRI sticker, gives me something to work towards!

  • Jen March 26, 2010, 1:30 pm

Great job on the trail run! I always step in puddles too.

I have a 26.2 and 13.1 sticker that I’ve been meaning to put on my car. Only thing is I’ve only done 1 full and that was over a year ago and I hated the distance, so I don’t know if it really deserves to go on my car. I love halves though so I need to put that one on.

  • Tina March 26, 2010, 1:32 pm

Awesome on the run!!! I don’t have stickers on my car…but that could be bec I have never done a half or marathon. Oh well. 🙂

And last Labor Day weekend I had a friend I met online and her husband and daughter come stay the weekend at our house. It was SO much fun. You can definitely get to know someone well enough through online to be close enough for visits. Although before I would have definitely thought it was weird. I’m excited to go visit her in about a month now. 🙂

  • Jen March 26, 2010, 1:32 pm

I REALLY want a 26.2 and a triathlon sticker on my car, but can’t find them!! I might have to order online. I love the tri one’s that just shows the people swimming, biking, running! And – I would have totally covered my 13.1 sticker with a 26.2 – my first marathon was 3 years ago! what am i doing without a sticker?!

  • Madeline - Greens and Jeans March 26, 2010, 1:34 pm

I am not a sticker person, but I ROCK my race tee’s like nobody’s business!

  • Gina March 26, 2010, 1:35 pm

I have a 13.1 sticker on my car but I plan on covering it up whenever I complete a marathon. Before I got into running I had no idea what those stickers meant. 26.2? Is that a place where they went? Haha, hopefully someone gets curious about my sticker, looks it up, and then gets addicted to running! 🙂

  • Evan Thomas March 26, 2010, 1:35 pm

I need a car first! Haha. Great run and great refueling!

  • Meredith March 26, 2010, 1:37 pm

You should wear wool socks (like the Thorlo Experia) – they dry almost instantly when they get wet. That is the only way I got through long slushy training runs here in Kentucky this winter.

No stickers on my car. Maybe for an Ironman, but not for a half or full marathon.

  • Catherine March 26, 2010, 1:37 pm

That wrap looks insane!!1 Definitely a must-try… I have done a marathon, but never got a sticker. Oh well, I don’t have a car either since I live in NYC. I do howewever proudly wear my marathon shirt and plan on getting another when I do Boston in a month!!

  • Lee March 26, 2010, 1:40 pm

    I have a 13.1 magnet on my fridge. I don’t know why I don’t have the 26.2 one!

  • Allison March 26, 2010, 1:40 pm

I totally dig your idea about covering up the stickers as you increase your strength/distance/accomplishments. It’s my dream to someday have a 140.6 sicker on my car. Someday I will… someday… 🙂

  • Anna @ Newlywed, Newly Veg March 26, 2010, 1:42 pm

I got a sticker for my half, but never put it on my car. I think if I ever did a marathon, I’d definitely put the 26.2 sticker on there.

Have a great time with Angela!

  • Anya March 26, 2010, 1:43 pm

Love those stickers! I have a 2,175 sticker ready to be put on my car. 2,175 (actually it’s 2,178 to be exact)= miles on the Appalachian Trail, which I thru-hiked from Maine to Georgia last year. Hiked of course, not ran, but I still feel badass when people ask me what it stands for. And as for muddy sneakers– we got stuck in mud up to our thighs a few times in Maine. Good times! 😀

    • caitlin March 26, 2010, 5:05 pm

you are awesome! hiking is tough, especially so far!

  • swimsutra March 26, 2010, 1:44 pm

    Haha, if I survive my 10-miler, I should find a 10 sticker! 🙂

  • Samantha Angela @ Bikini Birthday March 26, 2010, 1:45 pm

I like the idea of a wrap with sweet potatoes!

  • Matt March 26, 2010, 1:48 pm

I am sporting a 26.2 sticker on my car 🙂

  • Melissa March 26, 2010, 1:55 pm

How do you rescue shoes like that? I’ve totally mudified several pairs out camping and though I soak them in the bath and run them through the wash in a pillow case, I can never seem to get them completely clean.

    • caitlin March 26, 2010, 2:09 pm

i dont think you can rescue them. when you washed them, did it deform the sneakers?

      • Melissa March 26, 2010, 2:32 pm

No. They were still shaped fine, they were just kind of stiff. It’s like it’s impossible to get all the dirt out, and so even after they are “clean”, the material is just never really as flexible, with or without the washing machine. Much easier for it to chaff, too. It seems a little silly to me that expensive exercise shoes can be so easily destroyed. Just one of those facts of life, I suppose.

  • Allison March 26, 2010, 1:56 pm

I bought a 13.1 magnet for my car last week! I ran my first half marathon (Disney Princess) this month, and then ran my second (Sarasota Half) a week later. I felt like I deserved the magnet. 🙂

  • Erica March 26, 2010, 2:01 pm

Absolutely! I bought a pink 13.1 sticker that looks like a tiara after the Disney Princess 1/2. I LOVE IT! I feel very cool, even if it IS on my suburban full of kids;-)

  • Cathy March 26, 2010, 2:02 pm

Have you ever thought of doing a super marathon? I’m not a runner (I’m a serious Crossfit member) my mom has done about 25-30 marathons and a few years ago she started doing supers; I think they’re 50 miles (or maybe 52.4 if they’re double)? You set up a team that hands out food and water and follows you all day. My mom loves does them with her friends and I know they feel super accomplished when they can say they do double marathons!

    • caitlin March 26, 2010, 2:08 pm

      your mom is badass.

  • mal March 26, 2010, 2:03 pm

I actually have a 26.6 sticking on my car but it’s in the shape of an oar because I rowed a marathon last november!

    • mal March 26, 2010, 2:04 pm

      **26.2!! 🙂

      • caitlin March 26, 2010, 2:08 pm

        thats pretty cool!

  • Katherine March 26, 2010, 2:12 pm

I would totally rock a 26.2 bumper sticker if I ran a marathon! That is definitely something to be proud of!

I just registered for this race: http://www.warriordash.com and I am giddy with excitement and incredibly nervous all at once. I’m doing the Northeast one, so I have until September to train, but I feel like I need to leave work right now and go run some hills!

There are locations all over the country if anyone is interested!

    • caitlin March 26, 2010, 2:16 pm

the warrior dash looks epic. i wish i could do one!

  • Jess @ Truly.Into.Fitness March 26, 2010, 2:17 pm

Angela is wonderful:) You’ll love her! I was nervous when I met her too:P

  • Amber K @ sparkpeople March 26, 2010, 2:22 pm

I would probably scrapbook a sticker if I had one. But I don’t like putting them on my car. The only stickers that are on there are the ones that were there from the previous owner.

  • Michelle March 26, 2010, 2:23 pm

I never even thought of putting a 13.1 on my car after my half!! I figured it wasn’t legit, like a full marathon. But now that I know others do, I’m definitely getting one!

  • Heather (runningwithsass.com) March 26, 2010, 2:27 pm

i ahve a 13.1! hoping to change it to 26.2 next year!

  • Kristin (Cook, Bake and Nibble) March 26, 2010, 2:27 pm

If I do a marathon, I will put a 26.2 on there for sure! Actually, I want it tattooed on my foot as well =D

    xo
    K

  • Jessica @ The Process of Healing March 26, 2010, 2:33 pm

I can’t WAIT to put a 13.1 and a 26.2 sticker on my car. I’m gonna be so happy I just might cover my car in stickers 😉

  • sirenjess March 26, 2010, 2:43 pm

I have a 26.2 sticker on my car and toenails are for sissies. Because I lose nails.

  • liane March 26, 2010, 2:47 pm

I don’t have the stickers on my car, but I have a 13.1 sticker on my fridge at home (that holds up my current race training calendar) and after we finished our half last fall, the 6 year old daughter of my running buddy drew us all pictures of ourselves as we crossed the finish line and that picture sits on my desk at work and I smile every time I look at 🙂

  • Therese March 26, 2010, 2:54 pm

I don’t have a car, nor have I run a marathon (but I’m running my first half in September!) but I will definitely be defacing my car with that awesome achievement when the time comes! 😀

Awesome time today! You ladies are going to kick some arse next week!

  • Maggie March 26, 2010, 2:59 pm

That wrap looks soo good! yummy.
I have ran many 1/2 marathons and a full marathon but do not have any stickers! I like them and want them, but i don’t want to feel like i am gloating. but they really ought to give all the finishers those stickers, instead of having to buy one.

  • Tina March 26, 2010, 3:05 pm

sounds like fun. Wrap looks tasty, think I might have to try that too… minus the sprouts for me though.

I have a 26.2 sticker from my hubby the Christmas after my first marathon even though I had run several 1/2 marys. I’m selling my car =( but the hubby says we can put at 26.2 on the truck! YEAH! I’m going to make a cork board with all my bibs, medals and stickers so they don’t take over my car.

  • Runeatrepeat March 26, 2010, 3:06 pm

More than a sticker – when I qualify for Boston I’m putting a 26.2 “sticker” aka tattoo on my body.

  • eatdrinkandbemerrynyc March 26, 2010, 3:22 pm

Good luck! Have fun with angela! I really want to sign up for a trail run soon….
    Sara

  • Nicole, RD March 26, 2010, 3:23 pm

Awesome trail run! And have fun with Angela, I love that she’s staying with you!

I had a 26.2 on my old car. I have a brand new car and I’m weary to put anything on it! Someday, after I run another marathon I will!

  • Erin (Travel, Eat, Repeat) March 26, 2010, 3:26 pm

Looks like a really fun run — doing it with friends is always better than flying solo.

  • Theodora March 26, 2010, 3:53 pm

I live in NYC so my car lives at my parents’ in NJ, and I don’t drive it often — but I still definitely got a 13.1 sticker for it!!! Once I finish Chicago in October, it sure as hell is going wear a 26.2 sticker!

  • Kristan March 26, 2010, 3:55 pm

I think it is cool that all y’all bloggers meet together. It was funny reading on Angela’s blog that she was going to see you and vice versa. Have fun!

  • steph-exercise physiologist and artist! March 26, 2010, 4:01 pm

Oh my gosh!! I live like 5 mins from moss park!!
I was wondering where you went in Orlando for your trail runs!
So funny that I never thought of moss park 🙂
My friend always goes boating there and loves it.

    GREAT JOB!!! You guys rock!!

    • caitlin March 26, 2010, 5:07 pm

we should hang one of these days 🙂

      • steph-exercise physiologist and artist! March 26, 2010, 9:40 pm

For sure! I actually emailed Kelly earlier too 🙂
I’ll definitely be in touch at the beginning of April.
Hope you are having a great time with your guests. its a beautiful night to be out with friends!

  • Paige (Running Around Normal) March 26, 2010, 4:11 pm

Great job on the run!! Awesome time 😀
    Sorry about your shoe.

  • Kacy March 26, 2010, 4:21 pm

Awesome job on the run! Can’t wait to see how the Crooms Run goes!

  • Alison March 26, 2010, 4:42 pm

I bought my husband a 26.2 sticker and an “I survived the Marine Corps Marathon” Christmas ornament after his first marathon. I’m running my first marathon next January and I hope to add a sticker to my car, as well.

  • Mary March 26, 2010, 4:58 pm

Do you know I hate brussel sprouts? You make them look SO delicious though in your pictures, that I actually want to make some!

  • Jalita March 26, 2010, 5:26 pm

Mmmm.. That wrap looks like something I could eat. Beans and potatoes have about the same texture so I probably wouldnt even be able to tell I’m eating beans or probably even the sprouts.

  • Elizabeth March 26, 2010, 5:35 pm

I hope to put a 13.1 sticker on my car in the next year or so! Working up to it!

  • Lacey @ Lake Life March 26, 2010, 5:39 pm

I never even knew what that sticker meant until I started reading Meghann’s blog and then yours. I saw a car in my parking lot a few days ago with one and was like “yay- I actually know what that means” lol.

If I were a runner I would definitely put that sticker on my car. It’s bragging rights that are definitely EARNED!

  • Tami March 26, 2010, 5:49 pm

My husband’s car has 13.1, 26.2, 70.3 and is signed up for ironman in November. I actually feel like a dork when I drive it. Like anyone is going to believe I did all those things!

I have the 26.2 magnet on my boonie truck and hope next year to earn me an Xterra Guam sticker to go with it!!!

That wrap sounds amazing…your recipes always are though. Last week your sweet potato black bean balls were on my menu 4 different times! And I want to try the combo you had in your spinach wrap w/ strawberries very soon. (Planned to yesterday but ran out of time and did a strawberry carrot green monster instead on the go!)

I am running my first half marathon May 2nd and will totally get a sticker for my car but definitely wont stick it to it….but ya have to brag a lil 🙂

  • Julie @ Pickley Pear March 26, 2010, 5:56 pm

No stickers for me! I just can’t do it. But, I do get excited when I see 13.1 or 26.2 on other cars, I like to smile at them, they probably think I’m nuts!

I’m sorry to leave so many comments. I had left a comment about the wrap on the wrong post. I was wondering how much of each item (sprouts-those are brussels, right? sweet potato and baked beans) you put into your wrap. I was also wondering how you prepared the items. Do you baked the sweet potato or boil them like you would a regular potato and then mash it up? And do you just bake the baked beans or just heat them on the stove and add them to your wrap? I’m sorry for all the dumb questions. I’ve been following your blog for awhile and you’ve inspired me to start eating veggies and even tofu. I just don’t know where to start with the veggies and tofu. This wrap looks like a good start for me to begin eating veggies. I just eat the “bad” veggies like corn, potatoes, and occasionally carrots.

Yes! I am totally with you on not having lots of stickers on my car. I have a 26.2 and a runner girl sticker and I would have to replace one if I wanted to add anything else. Your lunch looks delish and so healthy!

  • Heather @ Side of Sneakers March 26, 2010, 6:16 pm

Trail funs are SO fun!!! There’s something extra exciting about jumping over and dodging things 😉 I have a swim bike run sticker….I didn’t add a 13.1, but when I hit 26.2, I’m definitely bragging about it with a sticker 🙂

  • BroccoliHut March 26, 2010, 6:17 pm

I completely trust you–that wrap combo sounds amazing!

Random question- when you say “an entire bag of roasted parsnips”- does that mean you buy your parsnips already cut up? That seems so much easier to me haha

    • caitlin March 27, 2010, 12:53 am

naw they kind of look like carrots, i slice and cut an entire bag.

  • Cynthia (It All Changes) March 26, 2010, 7:58 pm

I will totally buy a 13.1 sticker or magnet when I run my race in September but I can’t put it on my car since I don’t own my car (it’s a company car). I think I’ll put it on my laptop though.

  • John March 26, 2010, 8:06 pm

I didn’t realize till a few weeks ago there was such a thing or I’d have a 13.1 on my car and work truck. Guess I’ll have to find them after running my second one in May.

Puddles suck! Never fails that you hit at least one on your run. Last week I thought I had jumped one……ah no I didn’t..lol.

  • Nicole @ Geek Turned Athlete March 26, 2010, 9:21 pm

OMG! I didn’t know they made 70.3 stickers!! You better believe I’m going to put that on my car in September. Well, that depends if I survive the race or not…

  • Jenna March 26, 2010, 9:32 pm

    Wrap combo sounds great!!

  • Lisa (bakebikeblog) March 26, 2010, 9:33 pm

Great work on the run! Running with friends makes all the difference on those longer runs 🙂

  • Emily Eats and Exercises March 27, 2010, 12:42 am

I want to get a swim-bike-run sticker for my car. You should get one too!

  • Jolene (www.everydayfoodie.ca) March 27, 2010, 12:50 am

I can’t wait to hear about Angela’s stay at your place!!!!

  • Tasha - The Clean Eating Mama March 27, 2010, 2:25 am

I have been adding sweet potatoes to my wraps lately, too. I love the spicy/salty combo with the sweet!

  • Kristina @Mendonpondmusings March 27, 2010, 12:15 pm

I might get a 26.2 now since I finished my first marathon! Kind of like a badge of honor.

Good luck next week. Sounds like a fun race

  • Jes March 27, 2010, 1:01 pm

I had a “runner girl” and “13.1” sticker on my old car, but I do not have one on my new car yet. I cannot wait to add the 26.2 sticker next year!!! EEK!

  • Donna March 29, 2010, 9:04 am

My husband doesn’t like to put stickers on the car (though he did consider it seriously), however he had the ironman symbol tattoed on his leg within a week of completing his first ironman.
