I kid you not, I saw people pushing their dogs in strollers at the farmers marekt this summer. Expensive strollers…made for dogs. I dont’ remember the brand now, but I was quite surprised when I peered in the stroller, expecting to coo over a cute baby, and it was a dog!

  • Jessica @ How Sweet It Is December 3, 2009, 5:21 pm

    LOL please get one!!!

  • Kristen December 3, 2009, 5:21 pm

but photoshop a baby in there and it will look fabulous 🙂

    • Caitlin December 3, 2009, 5:26 pm

oh girlfriend, that is PAINT. not photoshop. old ghetto PAINT. LOL

      • Kristen December 3, 2009, 5:29 pm

ah yes, i should have recognized the white edges 😉 paint a baby, photoshop a baby, make a baby…whatever 🙂

  • Sana December 3, 2009, 5:21 pm

Hahahah! Maybe you can use it when you have a baby!

  • Dori December 3, 2009, 5:23 pm

Ridiculous but adorable! I think you should get it because it will get Maggie out of the house and into fresh air for a long time, it will make running more fun, you will meet lots of inquisitive strangers and you will have it all set when you have a baby!

  • Sam (Merit to the Carrot) December 3, 2009, 5:26 pm

I don’t find any shame in that 🙂

  • Meg December 3, 2009, 5:27 pm

    Hahahaha I think it’s a great idea 😛

  • Angela December 3, 2009, 5:28 pm

it’s cute but ridiculous! Dogs were mad to walk and run not treated like little babies 🙂 At first I thought you were telling us you were preggo…lol

    • Tracey@tropicalhappiness December 3, 2009, 5:32 pm

But sometimes little dogs with stumpy legs (kisses, Maggie!) can’t go long distances!!!!!!!! 🙂

      • Angela December 3, 2009, 7:40 pm

I didn’t mean it’s ridiculous to the point don’t get it or being mean…I meant it’s cute and ridiculous and WHY NOT!! Go For it…Maggie needs pampering too!

        • Tracey@tropicalhappiness December 3, 2009, 8:29 pm

Oh I know! I think it’s ridiculous too… just giving the shorties a little love! 🙂

  • Evan Thomas December 3, 2009, 5:29 pm

My dog falls asleep in the car all the tie–I’m sure he’d love a run if you’d push! Haha. And I’m happy to see I’m not the only one out there who wears a Zevia t-shirt out and about 😉 Though I bet if you do see another person chances are they’re a blogger

    • Caitlin December 3, 2009, 5:32 pm

      isnt it soooo soft though?

  • Allison December 3, 2009, 5:30 pm

Would Maggie even like that? She might just get freaked out and whine the whole time

    • Caitlin December 3, 2009, 5:33 pm

hmm i dont know. i’d definitely strap her down.

  • Chrysta December 3, 2009, 5:35 pm

haha…totally get one!! Looks like fun anyways=)

  • Tay December 3, 2009, 5:35 pm

  • Nicci December 3, 2009, 5:36 pm

HAHA, I’ve always wanted one for my dog. Why can’t we? the Mom’s in my neighborhood go by my place everyday…I’m jealous.

  • Sarah Jayne December 3, 2009, 5:45 pm

Totally ridiculous in a “I-Love-It” kinda way!!!!! You could rock it for sure 🙂

  • Mackenzie @ The College Authentic December 3, 2009, 5:47 pm

HAHAHAHAHHAA! I literally squealed a bit when saw this! If only I could persuade my 100+ lb dog to get in one of those I’d totally run with you and your pup! No lie. 🙂

  • Ali December 3, 2009, 5:54 pm

I see people do that all the time, though!
And I just have to say this:
Even though I don’t comment often on people’s blogs, I feel like I really know them- which is why I CAN”T WAIT until all you bloggers (e.g. You, Tina, Angela, Kath) start having babies!!! They’d be blogabies 🙂

    • Caitlin December 3, 2009, 5:58 pm

      🙂

me neither! it will be fun to see how the blogs transition as we all grow up. 🙂 i will name my baby BabyHTP.

      • Caitlin December 3, 2009, 5:59 pm

        • Carrie H December 3, 2009, 6:07 pm

and if you would have had your baby when you were still see bride run, you would have had a little see baby poo.

  • lauren @ Eater not a runner December 3, 2009, 6:13 pm

    Um that picture is hilarious!

  • Stasa December 3, 2009, 6:17 pm

This is so funny, love the pic! I can totally relate since for some reason I’ve always wanted a jogging stroller but don’t have children. Never thought to put my dog in it 🙂

  • Teacherwoman December 3, 2009, 6:21 pm

LOL. Love it. I like the idea of a baby better! 🙂

  • Sammi December 3, 2009, 6:29 pm

The way I was imagining was cute but that is adorable! hahahaha. You so need that!

  • Wendy December 3, 2009, 6:41 pm

I agree with some of the above commenters – I can’t wait until all you food bloggers start having babies and seeing how your blogs/lives transition. I have such fond memories of when mine were little bitty, I’m looking forward to reliving my memories vicariously through you!

Also, when you need recommendations/tips for jogging strollers, I’ll be happy to oblige. 🙂

  • kate December 3, 2009, 6:41 pm

i have this stroller in orange. i did my first 5K on thanksgiving with my 27 pound 20 month old in it. i wanted to pass out.

  • Lindsay Perrone (goodiesgalore) December 3, 2009, 6:58 pm

Looks like someone’s getting pretty serious about the whole baby making thing. You two would make adorable little ones!

  • skinnyrunner December 3, 2009, 7:00 pm

hahaha! at least you know how to run when you do have a baby.

  • Lee December 3, 2009, 7:04 pm

    jenna

  • alli December 3, 2009, 7:16 pm

haha! this is cracking me up! earlier this year my friend came over with her baby. my little shih tzu was jealous of the attention i guess and snatched the babys pacifier. my pup had it in his mouth the right way, it was ridiculously hilarious! obviously we kept the binky and we’ll find it moved from time to time. im thinking a dog with a paci would be cute in a jogger 🙂
i second what everyone else has said about being excited for all our fav. food bloggers to have babies!

  • Alyssa December 3, 2009, 7:32 pm

    Ha ha, awesome!

i saw some lady pushing a pink stroller full (i mean FULL) of tiny white poofy puppies. like, probably 12 of them…

    • Lauren December 3, 2009, 9:13 pm

haha! that’s awesome! Sounds like it would look like a giant cotton ball in a stroller 😀

  • GirlonRaw December 3, 2009, 8:55 pm

bahahahahaha, too funny. I love it 🙂

  • Lauren December 3, 2009, 9:12 pm

Mhm..maybe you could put your dob in a little baby costume? Bonnet, bib, and all :] the other joggers would probably take a second look, but you could just “reassure” them that it’s a baby and that they must be dehydrated 😀

  • Sarah @ See Sarah Eat December 3, 2009, 9:57 pm

    I think it’s cute! Ha ha 🙂

  • Whit December 4, 2009, 12:53 am
