Thai-ed Up at Work

in All Posts

I got completely slammed at work today and ending up working a 10.5 hour shift. Grrr!  Normally, that wouldn’t bother me, but it cut into my evening run.  That’s the trouble with PM workouts, huh?

Instead, the Husband and I went on a mid-week date night for Thai food.

Heaven. I love Royal Thai!  Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.

Same old, same old.  Shared appetizer of spring rolls.

Tofu Pa-ang.

And rice.

It was an awesome date night with my lovely Husband.  I’m going on vacation to visit my mother on Saturday (I’ll still be blogging my country adventures!), but the Husband is staying home.  Then, I’m off to Boston.  So, we need to get our fill of each other.  🙂

Other afternoon snacks included blueberries.

James told me earlier he was annoyed I did not do a dedication post to him.  Just an FYI, I think my little man is just as handsome as Maggie is cute!

My fave Thai restaurant looks just as, if not more, scary from the outside!

    James is very handsome 🙂

What a wonderful dinner. Believe it or not I have not been to a Thai restaurant when I was a little girl. I did not like the dish I ordered and have not been since. Although I do LOVE Whole Foods brand frozen Thai entrees…I need to hit up one of the Thai restaurants down here! Your dinner looks delish 🙂
    Have a great night!

Yay! I love dates!! Especially when you live with the person you're going on a date with! It makes things more interesting.

    Tell James that he's amazing!

Aw that's nice you went on a mid-week date! Sometimes it's nice to get out in the middle of the week. Can always run tomorrow, right?

And yes, James is *just* as adorable as Maggie!

You definitely deserve a weeknight dinner date after all the work you have been doing!

Good choice on having a romantic dinner date with your hubby instead of getting down on yourself for missing your run. There is always tomorrow to run, but date nights are few and far between.

Oh my, Thai! It's just so wonderful, isn't it? 🙂

    Take care hun!

Both of your doggies are so cute! James cracks me up because in some pictures, he really looks like he's smiling for the camera 😉

I love thai food – it seems like a lot of thai places don't look that awesome on the outside!

Have a great day – I love the operation beautiful stories.

I love going out on mid-week dates, it makes the long working week not as long. Have you ever tried making Thai food yourself?
