On to the afternoon and evening eats….

Although I am on a staycation from my regular job, I still have to go to my part-time one.  I munched on this granola bar on the way there:

And when I got home, I had granola + Oikos Greek yogurt:

The Husband was in charge of dinner.  He made some yummy ravioli, Vodka sauce, and a delish salad:

Can’t mess up pre-made ravioli!

The salad was super-special.  He added grilled zucchini, onion, and ginger and topped the salad with tomatoes and balsamic vingarette.

I’m going to go hunker down for the night — we are under a tornado watch!  That’s not unusual for Central Florida in the summertime, and I actually enjoy thunderstorms.  As long as no one gets hurt!

Have a wonderful evening.

Wow- an ice cream social! I may have to make the trip to Boston just for that!! Didn't know you were doing un-ticketed events too!! That's awesome!!

Hope everything you don't have a tornado! Hide under your bed!! That's what I would do!

I love mariani products, their dried strawberries are phenomenal.

Storms are exciting when you are safe, so stay safe.

Hope you'll have another Healthy Living Summit next year that I might be able to attend. Sounds like it will be a blast.

  • Anna July 24, 2009, 7:27 pm

I'm so excited to see that Body + Soul will be there! I'm interning at Dr. Andrew Weil's publication "Self Healing," and we share a (very small) office with B+S! I'm really hoping to connect with some of my office-mates who will be on the panelists before the summit. That would be neat. Will Alanna be there? (the editor in chief?)

Granola and yogurt is one of those combinations that I always thought was too "crunchy" for me. But not it is my favorite breakfast. It's funny how out tastes change. Great blog.
