I decided to turn Operation Beautiful in a movie! It’s a nice and concise way to explain the concept.

Feel free to e-mail it, embed it, and share it!  🙂 Spread the love!  The song is "River Flows In You" by Yiruma.  One of my favorites.

I have to work on Saturdays, unfortunately!  But once work is done, I have a fun day of bike riding + car shopping with the Husband.  🙂

Breakfast was simple and quick.  It’s getting so hot in Florida that all I want to eat is yogurt + cereal.

A mix of Greek vanilla yogurt, a banana, and Kashi Go Lean + a random organic flax cereal.

And my packed lunch:

Underneath all that steamed broc is brown rice and kidney beans.  I’m just going to toss this in my purse and eat it cold later.

Plus, apricots for a snackie!

Stay tuned for today’s Operation Beautiful post sometime this afternoon!  Do you guys think it’s going to stay this crazy?? I hope so! 🙂

I hope it stays crazy! How cool would it be to see notes up around your own town that YOU didn't put up?!? It's a great movement!

I think you can keep up the momentum 🙂
I'm so sad I won't be able to go to the Healthy Living Summit because I am the maid of honor in a wedding that weekend at the Cape. But I hope to see lots of nice notes around Boston when I get home 🙂

I never got out yesterday but my dad and I are headed to the mall… can't wait!

GL car shopping… aim low and stick to your guns, they need you not vice versa 😉

I love operation beautiful so I hope you do continue to stay this crazy about it! Honestly, I used to be very critical of my body. I'm talking from when I was about 10 until a week or so ago. That's 17 years of negative body talk. Since Operation Beautiful started, I've stopped weighing myself and have been eating healthy and exercising because it makes me feel good and NOT to lose weight. I'm being so much nicer to myself and am 1000x happier. After all, a clothing size and a number on a scale do not determine our self worth and do not say anything about how beautiful we truly are! Thanks for getting all this started.

Hi Caitlin! I've been following your blog for about a month now (along with Meghann, Kath, Jenna, Tina, and more!) and I have to say that your Operation Beautiful is awesome. Awesome. I have always struggled with not feeling beautiful enough due to ups and downs with my weight. I am going to post a couple of notes today, you have inspired me! Thanks for that, and your (and your friends) blogs for helping me get back to "healthy" not skinny! I enjoy reading y'alls (sorry from TX here!) so much. Keep up the great work!!

PS the video/movie is Fantastic! 😀

  • Ryan (Chase Daylight) June 20, 2009, 6:31 am

That song is one of my favorites too! Ever since I saw it on a Twilight thing I've been obsessed with Kiss the Rain and others by Yiruma…I think it'd be a wonderful first dance song at a wedding because it pretty much gets me teary eyed every time I hear it 🙂

love me some steamed broccoli and brown rice.
broccoli is so comforting to me for some reason haha.

I think the operation beautiful is going to stay as strong as it is! I know i'm ADDICTED..i look forward to it each and every day!!

Your video just made me cry – I've been reading the posts without tears, but having them set to music brought out the waterworks!

  • Bek June 20, 2009, 10:38 am

the song in the video is Bella's Lullaby by Robert Pattinson :] just letting you know.

  • Caitlin at Healthy Tipping Point June 20, 2009, 10:52 am

bek – haha no its not. look on itunes. 🙂 they thought it was going to be bella's lullaby in the movie, but they went with carter's version.

  • Bek June 20, 2009, 10:55 am

Yeah haha I just figured that out. Sorry!! and I think, thanks to this blog, Ive found a new favorite music artist. Thanks.

Oh, and by the way, Operational Beautiful is fantastic. Ive been leaving notes like these around everywhere for a long time in places where I thought the person needed it most. Im glad there are other people like me out there.

Your packed lunch looks delish. love me some broccoli & brown rice.

btw the song in your video is not Kiss the Rain, but rather River Flows in You. Yiruma does make some mad beautiful music.
