Morning! I’ve got to make this snappy because the fish are already bitin’ and I don’t want to miss it! 🙂
We went bowling last night, which always leads to pitchers of beer. For Sarah, here is one of the circa-1980 murals:
Do you know how many times I’ve bowled before realizing that mural is a galaxy of pins and balls? Weird.
As mentioned, the beer was in full force. We ordered a few pitchers of Yuengling.
Times two. Yes, I have to write my name on my cup. Our cups always get confused while bowling and I really hate drinking after other people (ewww, beer backwash!).
The beer weakened my defenses to this:
‘The five of us shared this, but I’m pretty sure I ate most of it. I refused to flip it over and look at the nutritionals…. sometimes, you just need to enjoy some crappy candy. Know what I mean?
I bowled horribly — a 70, and 85, and a 98! Bletch.
So, obviously I’m not feeling *my best* this morning. Nothing that a bowl of oatmeal and coffee can’t cure!
My oatmeal contained:
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 sliced banana
- Toppings: granola and coconut
I haven’t done today’s 30 Day Shred yet. I’m saving it until we get back from fishing…. wait til you see the spot we go fishing at! It’s so beautiful, like a Florida postcard!
