If you read Meghann’s blog, you know she has a bike named Blue.
Now, meet my bike, Pink. (She doesn’t have a real name, but she does have pink handlebars!). It’s a Giant.
Oh, and she has two wheels! 🙂 I have to dismantle Pink to get her in the car.
Meghann and I met up after work at a local paved trail called Cady Way Trail. The main segment is about 3.5 miles long, which is a perfect quickie bike ride distance.
We did about 7.0 miles at a quick but not laborious pace. We talked most of the ride. It was fun! But it was COLD (by Florida standards) — I had on 3 shirts and gloves! It wouldn’t have been so bad, but the sun went down and it got quite chilly out. I can’t wait for daylight savings time.

Challenge Announcement… Part 1
I came home and checked my mail… look what I received!
YAY I received the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. Which means I can announce my latest personal challenge. There are actually TWO parts to this challenge. But, I’ll announce Part 2 of the challenge tomorrow AM.
I need to balance my cardio workouts with some strength training; I usually neglect it! Since I’m obsessed with The Biggest Loser, have a women-crush on Jillian, and hate going to the gym…. I thought the 30 Day Shred would be the perfect solution!
I pledge to do the 30 Day Shred challenge in the morning, every morning! It’s ONLY 20 minutes — I know I can make time for that.

For dinner, I had baked BBQ chicken, green beans, and 1/2 sweet potato.
MMM! Plus… 3 more Girl Scout cookies – ohmigod this box needs to just be finished, now!
This afternoon, I snacked on…. Yogurt and granola!

And now I’m in bed, watching Jillian Michaels kick booty on TBL! Yay!
