Casey said… I seem to have cut out the same thing as everyone else – I rarely eat/drink products with HFCS anymore (if I can help it) and instead of a million servings of diet sodas and snapples a day, I opt for water or tea.  I’ve also succeeded in getting the boyfriend to stop smoking =)

I am SO happy it’s my weekend (I have Fridays off because of an alternate work schedule).  YAYYYY!!!

Mid-afternoon snacks included:

1/2 an apple (it was huge) and some PB

A really small portion Grape Nuts (last bit in the bag!) with skim

Some almonds:

After work, I decided to get in some cardio.  But I ended up doing the non-traditional type! I walked the dogs about 1/2 mile and then I washed my car!  🙂  Hey, it COUNTS as a workout to me!

The trees are releasing pollen and everyone in my neighborhood has a fine layer of yellow POLLEN on their car!

Healthy Spaghetti Bolognese

I made one of my favorite meals tonight – a Healthy Spaghetti Bolognese!  It includes WW angel hair pasta, organic pasta sauce, and Morning Star Meal Starter faux meal.

It was excellent… however, I somehow served myself way too much pasta.  There’s a trick that 1 quarter-sized "roll" of spaghetti is equal to one serving.   I "eye-ball" measured it, but I think once I added the Meal Starter and sauce, it was too much.

Plus a side salad.

Plus, I made to slowllly consuming this Dove Dark Chocolate bar over the night.   🙂

Sleep tight!

There’s a trick that 1 quarter-sized “roll” of spaghetti is equal to one serving.

What do you mean by this?

  • Leanne March 12, 2009, 6:53 pm

I see what you mean about the quarter-size and thanks for the tip! I’ve always wondered if there was some way to tell because I just grab and it usually ends up being too much!

Hubby got me 5 of those dark chocolate bars in my stocking and so far I’ve only ate ONE! They are so rich and chocolatey that just a nibble is enough to satisfy me.

  • Daniele March 13, 2009, 7:06 am

I’ll be washing my car this weekend, I don’t have the pollen problem yet, but I do have a lot of dust. Can’t wait to get my car shining like it should be!
That dinner looks super yummy! It’s making me crave pasta!
