It’s Summertime (in Florida)!!

Afternoon! TGIF it’s Friday – YAY!

 

I ran a bunch of errands this morning, including getting a new cell phone.  My old cell broke so I went in and got the cheapest one I could find….

Woot woot! I heart rebates.

 

Then, I made myself and my friend Harry sammies before I drove him to the airport…

WW toast, melted cheese, turkey deli meat, and a pickle.  MMM. 

 

Plus a side of melon.

After driving Harry to the airport, I took the puppies to the park.  It is seriously SCORCHING in Florida right now!  It must be 85 or 90.

I made the pivotal mistake of wearing jeans…. 🙁

But at least I wasn’t wearing a fur coat!

I sat in the sun, listened to The Beach Boys, and wrote some wedding Thank You cards.  Yes, I’m STILL working on these!

It takes me a century to write every single card — we have a lot to be thankful for!  Our friends and family really contributed their time, money, and effort to the wedding.

 

After 45 minutes of sitting in the HOT sun, we went home and I snacked on…

Yea… Ants On A Log.  I’m too cool for school. 🙂

 

I have such a FUN (and cheap) weekend planned — I am really excited. :)  I’m watching Meghann race in a triathlon tomorrow and we’re meeting up with my BFF Lisette and her husband Danny tomorrow.  YAY.

    my mom is coming to visit tonight for the weekend, so girls day tomorrow then i am running a half marathon sunday!! woo 🙂

    yayyy for free things, and yayyy for pretty weather! you’ll have a fab weekend, I’d love to watch a triathlon (the important word here being WATCH, not participate).

    I am going to study. all weekend, everyday, all day. woohoo.

    I’m looking forward to getting a run and yoga in tomorrow, and also getting my hair cut.

    I’m going to a memorial service tomorrow afternoon, and I’m kinda nervous because a) I’ve never been to one before and b) I’ll be meeting a bunch of BF’s family for the first time, and it’s not the happiest of occasions to be meeting people, you know?

    hmm its 38 in boston..poo. theres a huge st. patricks day parade up here on sunday that actually goes right by my apartment so my roommates and i are hosting 60-70 of our closest friends and 4 kegs of guinness to celebrate the day haha. have a good weekend!

    Ooh I need to give Ants on a Log another go! When I was little I didn’t like celery or raisins … which explains why I like eating PB off a spoon so much haha.

    My dad and stepmom are making the hour+ drive tonight to take my boyfriend and I out to a nice dinner in Philly – yay!! Tomorrow, after a long run, we are day drinking for St. Pattys day .. I am nervous because I’m a little rusty on my drinking skills lately 🙂
