Run, Glorious RUN!

in All Posts

Hello! So, it looks like from the Questionnaire results that most of you use running as an opportunity to mentally process life events and create lists of things you have to do.  Others like to simply zone out.  A surprising number of you also reuse socks!…  A few of you find this completely disgusting.  :)

Speaking of running, I had a very joyful run this evening that put me in an absolutely fantastic mood!  I ran 5.0 miles in 45 minutes and burned approximately 400 calories

Here are my eats for the afternoon and evening…

I ate homemade hummus and carrots for a snack around 2:00 PM.

And a handful of almonds around 4 PM…

Post-run, I drank a glass of milk to hold me over.

Husband wanted to drive to BURGER KING and get himself a "naughty" dinner.  He got three Jr. Whoppers and a large fry!  I settled for a Crap Free dinner in.

CIMG1915

I made brown rice with grilled chicken and sugar peas.  It was a pretty yummy dinner.

We spent the evening teaching James to jump over a bar (the agility course at the Dog Park is next)!

Sometimes, he tried to go under….

But in general, he was pretty good! 🙂

Goodnight! Sleep tight. 🙂

HAHAHA! That’s so cute teaching James to do agility. My in-laws are actually famous in that sport and both have been on the world team. It’s pretty cool but a lot of people don’t know what agility is.

Dinner looks delish and crap free. 😉

  • Elizabeth (thelongweigh) February 11, 2009, 11:30 pm

That is so impressive that you were able to eat such a healthy delicious dinner and resist BK! Your dinner looks delicious and your dog has mad skills!

  • Sarah (lovINmytummy) February 11, 2009, 11:56 pm

That’s not a bar…that’s a Swiffer. He’s going to be confused as hell when you mop. What is it with you and Andrea torturing your dogs?! 😉

  • Thinspired February 12, 2009, 2:15 am

Every time you post a run I want to say how awesome it is and how much you inspire me…but then I would be writing that almost every post! 😉
    Way to go 🙂
