Wrapping up the week on a work note at the office. Weâ€™re feeling productive, banging out meeting after meeting and task after task. I think Iâ€™m going to go for a run in a bit â€“ the running areas around the office are so nice, and I could definitely use a change of scenery!
We took a nice lunch break at Fern. When we spotted the Mint Mocha latte on the menu, we immediately jumped on it. Made it almond milk, it was creamy and sweet and delicious. I wish I hadnâ€™t had to share.
And for my entrÃ©e:
The Buddha Bowl â€“ a mix of pink rice (when the server said it came with pink rice, I said, â€œOOOOOH PINK RICE??! And was kind of disappointed that it wasnâ€™t fuchsia pink) and locally sourced veggies. So good. You know how you feel kind of sick to your stomach when you eat something greasy and heavy and salty for lunch â€“ even if it tastes reaaaaally good? Yeah. This meal was the exact opposite. I ate it and felt energized and satiated and warm and full.
