Well, I managed to get 6.75 hours of sleep.  The Tour de France sucked me and the Husband in — I LOVE watching bike races on TV!  Especially the highlights.  And those men bike insane distances — over 200+ miles at a time!  Wowza.  I biked 60 and nearly died.

Breakfast today was SO good:

The star ingredient was honey from the Farmers’ Market:

I drizzled the honey all over two whole wheat waffles, plain Oikos yogurt, and blueberries.  MMMM!

Strength Training

I feel like I’ve been slacking on my strength training so I did a quick 5 minute session this morning:

  • 30 push-ups
  • 50 bicycle crunches
  • 10 decline push-ups

Operation Beautiful

"Where in the USA is Monica?"  Monica from Run, Eat, Repeat is taking a cross-country tour on Operation Beautiful!   On Monday, she hinted that she is "Faithful to getting Operation Beautiful’s message to this place," and "we can thank Theodore Roosevelt for recognizing the beauty of this land."  If you guessed that Monica was going to be in Yellowstone National Park, you were right! 🙂

Now Monica is on her way to Destination #4.  Can you guess where she is going?

1.       This place represents the first 150 of American history
2.       Monica is definitely in a Rush to get to this next stop!

I'ts crazy to me that you function so well on less than 7 hours of sleep. I need at least 7 if I want to be a happy & productive person!

Although my brother can operate on 4 and run a race. What gives? I wish!

  • Amy July 14, 2009, 6:32 am
