Hungry Eyes

in All Posts

Thank you for all your kind words on my doctor’s appointment! 🙂 Your support, positivity, and words of wisdom mean so much to me.

It was a happy day with lots of running-related fantasizing going onMeghann G-chatted me and asked if I want to run the Disney Marathon with her now (hahahah! Let’s not get ahead of ourselves).  I checked out the local race schedule to see if anything peaked my interest.  It was all for fun, of course — I am going to take it slow and get rehabbed first!

OF COURSE, I did go on a run tonight!  I went to the gym and did 2.0 miles on the treadmill.  It was a combination of walking and running and it took me about 22 minutes.  It was the first time wearing my new orthotics and I think they made a difference!  I also took ibuprofen as recommended by the doctor and I’m currently icing my knees.

Here are my eats for the afternoon and night!  Lunch was a tempeh wrap with sprouts and mustard.  Plus cherries on the side:

Snacks during the afternoon included yogurt + Kashi TLC bar:

A nectarine:

And a small cup of Kashi Go Lean:

My pre-night shift "dinner" was a meal Maggie was very interested in eating, too.

She kept staring me down for a bite:

The crazy eyes won and I let her have some!

I had a PB bagel, celery, and carrots:

After night shift + my 2.0 mile run (YAYYYY), I had vegetable soup and crackers:

Relax time! Have a good night!
