Like a crazy woman, I set my alarm for 5:30 on a Saturday. Determined to make it to the gym before work, I had laid out all my workout clothes, prepared the dogs’ crates, and even made iced coffee last night. So, imagine how I felt when I checked the gym’s operating hours at 5:45 AM and realized they weren’t open until 8!
That’s the way the cookie crumbles! Guess me and the gym have a hot date this afternoon. 🙂
Breakfast was good, but it was TOO filling! I started off with that iced coffee:
Which I couldn’t finish.
I followed that with some Amazing Grass:
Which I did finish. 🙂
And then I ate a bowl of oatmeal:
Which I couldn’t finish either! I only ate about 1/2. This is really unusual for me, as I normally inhale oatmeal and lick the bowl clean! My stomach just felt off (and full of liquids).
My oatmeal contained:
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 sliced banana
- Toppings: cashews, almonds, and brown sugar
It was a delicious bowl of oatmeal; I just couldn’t get it all down (that’s what she said)!
