Cutest face in the entire world:

Second cutest:

CIMG5332

Guess what? I didn’t have to work at my part-time job this evening, and I intended to get so many things done instead… run errands, workout, relax, read… but I got totally sidetracked by a fun project!

And:

CIMG5340

My house is now a home!  :)  I am so proud of myself for finally framing AND hanging some recent pictures.  We have all these pictures up from years ago and nothing new (like wedding pictures!).

Onwards… I had some lovely eats this evening and afternoon — all my favs!

Including: yogurt and cereal around 2.

CIMG5325

A work-time Green Monster (1 banana, 1 cup unsweet almond breeze, ice, 2 cups kale, and flax):

CIMG5335

And a slice of PB and bread around 6:30 PM. Ladies (and gents), this is called "honoring your hunger."  🙂

CIMG5336

I actually didn’t eat dinner until 9:45 — can you believe it? I was pretty hungry by then!

CIMG5344

Perfect Baked Tofu, brown rice, and broc.  And oldie but goodie!

I’m going to go cuddle up with a few cookbooks and call it a night.  🙂

CIMG5348

Stay tuned for an early morning bike ride workout!

Evening!

Just wanted to say that I have been using your green monster recipe and it is honestly the best smoothie I have ever had! It’s so filling, healthy, and delicious, so thank you so much for posting it. I made it this morning with a frozen banana and it was better than ever!

  • spicygranola May 21, 2009, 8:27 pm

cute pups! Nice job framing those pictures. I need to be better about taking pictures, they will be so nice to look at years from now. I did a lot of hunger honoring today too, yummers.

Caitlin, what an amazing blog, I have been following your blog for awhile. You remind me of my BFL (Body for Life) days and i feel motivated to get back to healthy eating and exerising regime. I am feeling tired everyday and laziness is taken over me. I really really need to get back to shape.

  • Mica May 21, 2009, 8:50 pm

  • jesslikesithot May 21, 2009, 11:23 pm

Caitlin! Loved your baked tofu when I made it over winter break, so I’m definitely thinking it needs to be made again soon!

And your dogs are SO CUTEEE….my dog always turns away whenever I turn the camera on to snap a picture of her, so you’re lucky your dogs pose for ya! 🙂

  • wholefoodswholeme May 22, 2009, 1:02 am

How on Earth can you read cookbooks in bed?? I tried last night but ended up having to put it down as it was making me too hungry… 😛

  • teacherwoman May 22, 2009, 4:19 am

  • Caitlin at Healthy Tipping Point May 22, 2009, 4:47 am

anon – yyyayyy glad you liked the green monster! i’ve got to give angela at ohsheglows.com credit, though!

cryst – work it out! its amazing how we can affect how we feel by eating and exercising well AND thinking positivitely. good luck!

wholefoods – well my sister in law in england sent me that cookbook, but i’ve never eaten at a wagamama!

  • Stacey May 22, 2009, 4:57 am

    Caitlin,

have you ever thought of getting a trainer for your bike? It allows you to ride indoors,in place, when the weather is bad!

It is the greatest invention ever!
Same sweaty, hard workout minus the scenery 🙁

    Yay for new cookbooks!

  • GreenDogWine May 22, 2009, 5:36 am

I seriously heart Maggie and James! They are so darn cute!

Love the pics you hung – it seriously is a sense of accomplishment and home-yness when you finish projects like that (we’ve lived in our HOUSE 2 years – I still haven’t hung everything i should!)

  • slowthingsdown May 22, 2009, 5:46 am

I literally broke into a smile when I saw those faces…they’re way too loveable! 😀

  • Brandi May 22, 2009, 6:01 am

Aww, sweet doggie faces 🙂 Love the cookbooks, I’m going to get me some new ones this weekend hopefully, I’ve got some gift cards from my birthday burning a hole in my wallet, haha. Awesome pictures! I have lived in my apt for almost a year now and have hung close to nothing up yet. So you’ve inspired me 😉

  • havefaith4ever May 22, 2009, 6:41 am

What a wonderful bike ride!! I love those too. We just went on our first around the paths near our new house. It’s not as gorgeous as your view, but it’s so nice to get out and enjoy what around us. Does Maggie have a twin? I’d like to find a maggie! Your doggies are so gosh darn cute!
