I feel a lot better – maybe I just needed some R&R?

Mid-afternoon snack was Kashi Heart to Heart:

And for dinner, I finally took the suggestion off the back of the Flat Out Wrap package and made myself a pizza.

My Flat Out Pizza runneth over!

I was super impressed with the Flat Out Wrap pizza.  My pizza had tomato sauce, cheese, and kale.  I just broiled it at 400 degrees for about 7 minutes until it was crispy — mmm! Can’t beat guilt-free pizza, either.  🙂

Plus, a side salad.

No one ever comments on this, but I never use dressing (unless I’m at a restaurant).  The Husband thinks this is so weird, but I really hate the taste of dressing — I like to let the veggies shine through.  🙂

Um, and I totally just enjoyed a beer on my porch:

Tsingtao beer has a special place in my heart.  The Husband and I went to a Coldplay concert back in 2006 (maybe 2005!) and we drank a 6-pack of Tsingtao in the parking lot.  I always think of Coldplay and that lovely concert when I drink this beer.  :)  Funny how that works, isn’t it?  (Note: I might be drinking another one of these later).

Memories!  We were just babies back then. :)

I always thought you just used balsamic vinegar or something… That is weird!! I wish I could just eat lettuce by itself!

You guys are so adorable, I love it!

Pizza looks great! I’ve never tried the flat outs but it seems like such a brilliant idea.

I’m attempting to make pizza on the grill this weekend. Have you ever tried this method? Seems foolproof but I’ve never done it, so it could be an adventure.

Caitlin, I hope you have a wonderful weekend full of laughs, love and so much fun.

Take care and hope you are feeling better.

hope that you’re feeling better. I don’t think it’s weird at all. I’ve been living in Australia for three years and they don’t use salad dressing at all. When I first got here I thought ‘where’s the ranch’ now I prefer it with a splash of EVOO or balsamic if I use anything. Coldplay is amazing in concert I saw them about two months ago..incredible. Hope you have a good and restful weekend.

I’m not a fan of dressing either. Enjoy your beer!

I had a flat pizza for dinner, too!

Beer and memories? I like it 🙂

Your pizza looks delicious and I’m glad you’re feeling better!

I’ve definitely started using less dressing than I used to growing up. When I go out to eat, I always have to ask for it on the side because it masks the flavor of the vegetables completely. I have a feeling I could opt out of dressing all together if I used good fresh, organic vegetables – I’ll have to try this out!

Love, love, love Coldplay! The hubby and I saw then in November and have tickets for a concert in July! Maybe we’ll have to grab a case of that beer!

I love Tsingtao! I’m jealous you have a porch to drink it on! I have been wanting to make the Flatout pizza! Enjoy your night 🙂

I was just wondering the other day what u put on your salad! I should try to eat them with no dressing, except raw broccoli! No way can I eat that without dressing

  • Jewels May 29, 2009, 7:31 pm

i love dressing, thats awesome that you can do that-i wish i could use less.

Glad your feeling better, have you ever heard of ART (I think it stands for active release therapy?) I’ve heard some wonders it has done for athletes with injuries.

    Enjoy the night!

I’m glad to hear you are feeling better! You were probably just worn out from your crazy schedule. I don’t know how you find to work, bike, and blog!!

I’m back in Orlando now, so whenever you’re feeling better and your schedule allows, we should definitely meet up!!

    Ps- Flat out pizzas rock!

your porch looks lovely and a good place to spend a friday evening. I am glad you are feeling better! I usually use dressing on my salads, but sometimes I eat romaine lettuce leaves plain like potato chips, yum.

  • seesaraheat May 30, 2009, 8:20 am
