I woke up at an ungodly hour to take Meghann to the airport. I walked into the living room and found she was already dressed and blogging!
A good blogger never rests. 🙂
After I drove her to the airport, I made myself a basic but yummy breakfast:
My banana oatmeal contained:
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 sliced banana
- Toppings: crushed pecans and brown sugar
Sometimes a simple brekkie is the best.
The Big Announcement
For the last few months, Meghann, Tina, Heather, Kath, Jenna and I have been hard at work planning a weekend-long summit of bloggers and readers. Imagine an exciting weekend of product trials, informative speeches, cocktail hours with your favorite bloggers, a fun 5K run, and more!
We’re diligently working with several awesome sponsors to make the summit as fun and affordable as possible. The summit is in the early planning stages, but it’s going to take place late in the summer time.
I’m excited about this summit because I’ll get an opportunity to meet so many bloggers and readers! I really feel like the food and fitness blog community is so kind and accepting, and I can’t wait to meet all my awesome ‘electronic friends’ in person! 🙂
