I’ve had a productive morning so far! After breakfast settled, I went to the gym to get some cross-training in. I hamster-wheeled myself around on the elliptical for 30 minutes and burned approximately 150 calories.
After the elliptical, I did bicep curls with a 30 lb bar and some 30 Day Shred moves on the mat. I’ve determined to maintain my new muscle mass!
I inhaled my Thai food leftovers from last night for lunch.
Then… it was time to clean. :) I actually LOVE to clean because at least you have something to show for it in the end!
My best friend Lisette and her husband Danny are coming to stay with us this weekend. I clean for every guest, but Lisette is the neatest, cleanest person I’ve ever met. I lived with her freshman year of college and she literally ironed and folded her underwear and vacuumed our tiny dorm room every other day.
Last time we stayed with Lisette and Danny, we had chocolates on our pillows in the guest room. I could eat off her bathroom floors! Needless to say, I felt pressure to DEEP CLEAN my own apartment today.

After cleaning, I tried an England bar called "9 Bar Flax."
Ingredients: sunflower seeds, carob toppings, pumpkin seeds, honey, raw cane sugar, vegetable oil, flax, sesame seed, hemp seed, poppy seed. Total calories: 265.
It was delicious and unique, but veryyy dense.
Plus a bowl of celery.
One more errand to run and then I get to shop, shop, shop til I drop! 🙂

I like tidying up the most. It’s so easy and it makes a big difference in the appearance of a room. My least favorite chore is definitely scrubbing the tiles… ugh!
