Productive Saturday Morning

in All Posts

Good morning!  I’ve been up since 5 AM preparing for a series of meetings I had this morning about the holistic clinic and online shop.

I started with coffee (and Meghann’s blog):

And after about an hour of prep work, I ate a delightful breakfast:

Including the same Green Monster as yesterday…. I’m in LOVE!

And an over-easy egg on whole wheat toast:

I arrived at the meeting a little early so I wandered around this lovely dock that was behind the building:

And I discovered this little lake:

Central Florida reminds me of Jurassic Park or something — its so swampy!  I had some time to kill so I did some yoga on the boardwalk.  It made me feel more relaxed before all the meetings and presentations.  :)  Downward dog always straightens me out!

In between meetings, I tried this Weil Chia Razz bar:

Which was DELICIOUS and even better than the other flavor I tried earlier in the week.  There were big chunk of cashew and the bar was so chewy.  Two thumbs up!

After all my work duties were over (I crushed those presentations!!!), I came home to a nice lunch.

I made a turkey wrap with spinach and mustard.  It was great, but way too filling. I only ate 1/2 the wrap.

Plus carrots and watermelon on the side.  Mmmm! 🙂

Oh, the dehydrated fruits came out very well!

I taste tested everything and the pineapples were the best since they are so squishy and flavorful!  I can’t wait to make trail mixes with these goodies!

Off to SEIZE the DAY!  Plus, there’s talk of a birthday celebration tonight (my 25th birthday is tomorrow)!  This celebration is going to include booze if I have anything to say about it…. 🙂

Thanks for passing along that green smoothie recipe–I haven’t used almond milk in mine yet, so I tried it today.

So good. It tastes like dessert. I added 1/2 an apple and 1/2 a pear as well. Holy Yum!

I know it sounds strange, but try watermelon in the dehydrator. It is so good.
How do you go to bed so early/wake up so early? I need to put that into practice more often!

Dried pineapple is my favorite, but I’m too lazy to make my own. I love buying the Bare Fruit brand.

I also love that you did yoga out on the boardwalk before your meeting. 🙂

Glad you presentations went well and Happy Early Birthday!!!! Have a blast tomorrow.
