I literally dreamed this breakfast last night:
A Hodgson’s Mills Whole Wheat InstaBake waffle with a smear of Chobani vanilla yogurt, topped with Mix My Granola and blackberries.
Breakfasts like this make my Mondays about one hundred times more bearable! 🙂
Week 1 Roundup — Running Hiatus Workouts
I’ve managed to squeeze in four really amazing non-running workouts since the hiatus began:
- Workout #1: A rowing machined-based workout
- Workout #2: An elliptical-based workout
- Workout #3: Swimming
- Workout #4: Swimming
Plus, I’ve been doing LOADS of strength training moves everyday, something that I never incorporated into my running workouts (unless I was shredding). Workout #4 had the best list of moves.
A lot of you have asked how I am handling the running hiatus in terms of my eating, my sanity, and my body-image. This is a really complex topic, and it’s one that I don’t quite feel ready to state my opinion on — it’s only been a week! But I promise to post something soon. Although it’s been a struggle to drop the running habit, I’m really trying to focus on 1) the positive and 2) the things I can control.
