I feel all sorts of RUSHED today!  Guess it’s because I need to work, do laundry, run, pack….. and basically pull my life together before we leave for Charlotte tomorrow!


I woke up a little earlier to do Level 2 of the 30 Day Shred.  I wasn’t "feeling it" this morning so it felt a little more torturous than usual (it’s all mental!).  Maybe I’m just in bad strength shape, but Level 2 KILLS ME.  Walking plank push-ups!?!?! Are you kidding me? 🙂


Breakfast was divine….. PANCAKES!


I really do think Hodgson’s Mills InstaBake mix is the best pancake mix out there — the pancakes end up so light and fluffy.


Plus a banana and maple syrup for dipping.


And…. I’m off!  Sorry for the basic post.  I promise something interesting at lunch. 🙂

    what is a walking plank exactly? it sound awful. but those things tend to be the ones that are good for you 😉

    i was just going to say the EXACT same thing as erica– pancakes=NEVER basic.

    Is this bake mix like grown-up, better-for-you Bisquick? I’ve never seen it before because our grocery/box store is kind of lacking in…groceries.

    Ooh, walking plank pushups – now I see what it’s going to be like. I don’t like those but I always feel so strong after finishing. Not sure if the hubs is ready for this though… (actually I know he’s not – I won’t tell him!)

    Those pancakes looks so good, and it seems like you get a lot. I’d like to try that brand, do you think it’s better than homemade? If you’ve ever tried homemade?

    I’m dreading Level 2. Level 1 is bad enough.

    i am wondering why you are doing shred every day? typically you aren’t supposed to work the same muscles one day after another.

    haya – you stand staight, touch your toes, walk out on your palms into a plank position, do a push up, walk your hands back and stand up. repeat. ugh!

    mica- yes its a WW pancake mix.

    betsy – i did try homemade once and they sucked. 🙂 i love this mix though!

    tami – When you work a muscle to exhaustion, you need to take 1-2 rest days before working it again because you’re tearing the muscle and it needs to repair itself. When you’re doing circuit training and toning with relatively light weights, you can continue to work the muscle every day. if you’re not suppose to work the same muscles at all everyday, then no one would run two days in a row.
