    Caitlin,
I hope this doesn’t sound critical cause I don’t mean it to be at all … Do you use the raw egg whites in your icing? I am sooooo afraid of raw eggs! What’s your opinion on whether they are safe or not?

Take care of my Grandpuppy hope you survive the dogs when she is over here it usually cost A new doggy toy and stuffing all over the floor from Tug-A-War , 90 lb ‘scooby ‘ versus 12 lb ‘abbie ‘ What Fun !

carrie h- that’s not critical at all. i wondered the same thing the first time i tried this icing recipe. however, this is my understanding of the raw egg issue: salmonella is located on the outside of the egg, so as long as the egg doesn’t touch the outside, you’re fine. i washed the eggs with some soap to be sure. also, the odds of salmonella being on your eggs are really, really low. i dont think you need to worry about it!! 🙂

Cookies look yummy! I didn’t realize individually wrapping cookies kept them fresh longer. I will definitely try that next time I bake.
