Do you remember my wedding decor freakout earlier this month? I said:

This was a major oversight on my behalf, but I completely overlooked ceremony decor.  Our site provides chairs and an arbor, but the arbor isn’t exactly great on its own….

Well, my mother came to the rescue!  She bought organza from a wholesale shop and commissioned her florist friend to do a floral arrangement.

Ta-da!  This floral goes in the middle of the arbor and is about 1.5 feet long.

And across the sides, there are 3-foot long vertical arrangements on top of flowing organza.  Here’s one of the arrangements

Yay. Thanks Mom!  Very pretty.

I also managed to finish the placecards today.  I just had to fold them and sort them alphabetically.

And I worked on our honeymoon plan (we are going to California)! Future Husband did all the research, but I’m doing the final bookings.  I am surprising him with a DAY SPA trip in Calistoga that include a mud bath AND massage. *Swooooon* (OK, the surprise is more for me.)

I ate a wonderful lunch earlier… which, with the help of a few chocolate covered almonds for dessert, kept me fueled and ready to WEDDING PLAN all day long.

I made a simple WW wrap with turkey, lettuce, and mustard.

With a side of apricots….

And Walker’s Potato Crisps, all the way from England!

Future Hus’s sister brought me these from London because she knows I am obsessed with them.  They are perfect salt and vinegar chips — and only 130 calories.

Snacks include yogurt + granola around 4 PM…

And cantaloupe around 5 PM…

Off to balance my wedding budgets — ECKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK! (They are blown, and I DON’T CARE). 🙂

    Time for a catch up:
-Yay wedding day is almost here!! The arbor decor looks beautiful!!
    – LOVE the running skirt…I’m totally all over that.
    – You’re right, the 80 degree run does sound really good to me right now.
    – So I got a Polar F11 for Christmas and the HR alarm starts beeping like whenever it goes about 150 or so, but thats pretty much everytime I Start running. I know when I set it up and did the test thing it set the HR range for me but I’m not sure what this alarm thing is all about…thoughts??

  • Caitlin (see bride run) December 28, 2008, 7:20 pm

bobbi – can you email me recommendations for San Fran? we have the napa plan all done!

    quinn – lol thanks

bridget – you need to change the setting so the maximum heart rate is 199 (highest it will go). also, you might want to turn the sound off – also on the setting tab. i think its annoying when it goes off if the monitor slips or you start to walk.

Oooh I love those salt & vinegar chips, too! Such a yummy treat.

  • Sarah December 29, 2008, 5:33 am

Those Walkers salt & vinegars are the bessssssstttttttttt! I think the ones I've had before are baked b/c the fat grams were pretty low. My gf from Ireland usually remembers to bring some for me but I think she forgot this time around 🙁
