That a girl goes through….
You know… today was just one of those days, as Mondays usually are! Not to be a Negative Nancy or a Debbie Downer (who are those losers, anyways)! I did have some wonderful mid-day snacks….
Like an apple with some PB….
And right before we went to the gym, I had a sample Jocalat (100 calorie size). I tried the Mint flavor a while back and did NOT like it, but I really loved the Chocolate Hazelnut flavor! I think the smaller portion made it more likeable — it’s a very strong flavor and a little goes a long way.
The gym was a disaster! I forgot my knee sleeves and my iPod died within two minutes of arriving. I managed to jog on the treadmill for 5 minutes and used the elliptical for another 15 before my knee started to make a funny popping sound and I gave up.
I lifted weights instead. I did bicep curps, tricep pushdowns, dual pulley rows, Arnold lifts, and…. I did ab work! Can you believe it? If you haven’t noticed, I never. ever. ever. do ab work. I seriously hate crunches, planks, bicycle crunches…. everything! But, today, I did 90 bicycle crunches and two 30-second planks. Woo hooo!

Dinner with simple and protein-packed. I made Spaghetti Bolognese with ground turkey.
My rule with pasta is that I always balance it out with an equally large portion of veggies or salad.
I had a yummy spinach salad with a tomato, carrot, and a few raw broc trees.
Time to work on the holistic supplement website! Launch has been pushed back until Thursday so we can work out a few bugs and have it working PERFECTLY when we go live. 🙂
What’s your least favorite exercise? Mine is definitely ab work. I’d rather run 10 miles than do 100 sit ups.
