A Perfect Friday

in All Posts

…. is spent at home, in my opinion!

After our 23-mile bike ride and lunch, we took a long nap.  I definitely felt the ride in my thighs when I woke up! I hope I can still go for a long run tomorrow, because I’m looking so forward to running on the trails here.

We didn’t feel like being complicated for dinner.  So we just raided the pantry.

I found a can of Amy’s Organic Vegetable Barley! I’m too cheap to buy this for myself, but man – it was delicious.

I also had half of a fat and chewy bagel that was sitting in the fridge.  Bagels + melty cheese = perfection!

It was a strangely satisfying dinner, with fruit for dessert….

And a spoonful of ice cream! 🙂 But just one – to satisfy my craving without overdoing it.

The hot tub and a bottle of wine calls! 🙂 Enjoy your evening!

Hot tub… bottle of wine… oh I wish I could fly down there!!! My night = 21 degree wind chill and a Corona, to help me pretend I live someplace warm.

By the way… what were you first wedding planning steps?! I’ve booked my church and reception venue and now I’m like, NOW WHAT?!

Mm, bagels and cheese. One of my favorite college snacks used to be a cinnamon-raisin bagle with muenster cheese. Sounds gross, I know – but it’s really good!

how fun, looks like you two are having a great time! Man my inlaws live on a farm, it’s a huge flippin house, but if we stayed there (in Mississippi) we would be feeding goats, and milking cows!!! LUCKY!!! lol

Awesome day 🙂 Bagels and cheese are the best. I need to make that soon.

lyss – i assume you’ve done the guest list (or at least a draft), right? if not, that’s the first step. then i would looked into booking a DJ, a florist, and a photographer. And a baker. And of course, you need ot find an officiant if you haven’t done so already. Booking the vendors is the biggest challenge, but its also the most important. how exciting!

    bobbi – milking cows?!?!! ECK
