Defer to Meghann

in All Posts

For the details of tonight’s post, I defer to Meghann’s blog — after all, she made my whole dinner!

I started off with Crunchy Lentil Cheese Bites…. I had about three.  They were delicious and veryyyy crunchy!

And for the main entree, I had a portion of Santa Fe Spaghetti Squash Casserole… which… was… amazing!

This was actually the first time I had spaghetti squash EVER! I was impressed…. it seems like a versatile ingredient.

And I had a glass of Chianti.

And I finished off dinner with a nice, fluffy cupcake.  Actually, I only got through 2/3, but it was too sweet with the wine.

THANKS again for all your support today! It means so much.  I’m scheduled to do speedwork tomorrow morning, but I think I’m going to do something lower impact — like spin class! 🙂

And I know many of you have expressed interest in learning more about water running.  I bought a buoyancy belt today and can’t WAIT to try it out… maybe on Monday!

See you in the AM! Sleep tight.

Have fun at Spinning class tomorrow. I was scheduled to do my 10 mile run tomorrow, but guess what…? I’m sick. I hope I feel better tomorrow. If I do, I am only going to do a 5 mile run. I feel very lethargic and don’t want to overdo it! I am so bummed 🙁

    Goodnight!

    Hi Caitlin,

I am finally getting back to you on from your other post! I think my dr did an ultrasound because I could do it right away in the office, and my pain was concentrated in an area on my ankle. He found the stress fracture and I got a cast right away! Totally unexpected!! Today I got my cast off and he is ordering me orthotics but I can start running again in 1 week! Yeah!!

sharon – aww that’s too bad! but you know what? if you’re sick and try to run, it really makes your sickness worse. so you’ve probably made a good decision.

tracy – you can run in 1 week!? awesome!! oh, and if i had left the doctor’s office in a cast, i wouldve freaked the f–k out. LOL. you’re a brave woman!
