Good afternoon!

As you may expect, I had a Z-Bar for my mid-morning snack.  I made James pose with it to make the picture slightly more interesting:

Doesn’t he look cute/scared?

And for lunch, I had a platter lunch…. which is always more fun because it takes longer to eat.

Instead of eating a regular 6-inch sub, I made mini open-face sammies, topped them with chicken and cheddar cheese, and stuck them under the broiler for a few minutes.

And a carrot barrier to prevent the pickle juice from getting everywhere….

I am developing a crazy obsession with pickles.  Maybe it’s the tangy taste, maybe it’s the crunchiness, maybe it’s the fact that each slice is 5 calories…..

I went back for more (no, I’m not pregnant!).

World’s Most Awesome Wedding Dress

Awwww shucks.  I’m totally regretting buying my "normal" wedding dress now…. I wanna wear THIS ONE!

Missy’s dress, studded with Swarovski crystals, and with a 10ft wide train, was so heavy that it took ten guests to help her struggle out of the Rolls-Royce Phantom that brought her to the church.

As Future Husband would say, "That is CHAV-tastic!" You MUST read the whole article.

Regarding the dress, all I have to say is WOW!

  • Bridget October 29, 2008, 10:32 am

  • magpie October 29, 2008, 10:42 am

I like platter lunches too, and hooray for zbars 🙂

  • Jen October 29, 2008, 10:47 am

Girl, that is hilarious. Maybe you could take your dress back. 🙂
How about that cold snap we had here in Florida? It’s beautiful out now though.
    Have a great afternoon!

  • Bridget October 29, 2008, 10:54 am

Um what kind of church would let THAT in!?!?!!? Hahahahah!

I LOVE pickles too…just eat them right out of the jar, so good!

  • Andrea of Care to Eat October 29, 2008, 11:00 am

    That’s hot!
I’m glad I’m not the only one with a pickle obsession – they are a great option when you’re craving something salty 🙂

  • fitneat October 29, 2008, 11:11 am

I think that dress kind of cool…
if she had a better body and is wearing it for ahalloween party, not her wedding!!!!!!!

    Hi Caitlin,

OMG. That is horrendous. My boyfriend is English too and I never heard the word Chavtastic before until I went to England with him this past summer. Awesome! That dress is horrendous. Sad says that church is in Cheshire and thats where my bf is from. I will definitely tease him about his fellow Brits! Thanks for the funny article.

  • Catherine October 29, 2008, 11:57 am

Oh my good lord. As my mom would say “that doesn’t look church-friendly”!!

  • Tutu B. October 29, 2008, 11:59 am

  • Mrs. LC October 29, 2008, 12:09 pm

oh. my. gosh. trashy dress. there are so many things i don’t understand from this article…how was she done with school at 9? how are all the guests wearing such trashy stuff? how did a catholic church let her in with this dress? haha my old roommate in college was catholic and i had to make sure i wore a dress w/ straps to her super catholic wedding…there’s no way they would’ve let that dress in! craziness!

  • Katy October 29, 2008, 12:58 pm
