Sweat it Out

in All Posts

Clearly, I am getting old/weak/lame, because those two glasses of wine totally did me in! I woke up with a dry mouth and a teeny headache.  I know from experience that the best thing I can do is go SWEAT IT OUT, so I headed to the gym.

To calm my quesy stomach, I had a piece of WW toast and cashew butter before I left (and a coffee, of course).

At the gym, I did 30 minutes on the elliptical and some weights.  I did tricep pull-downs (3 sets of 12 reps, 40 lbs), bicep curls (3 sets of 12 recps, 30 lbs), and dual pulley pulldowns (3 sets of 12 reps, 45 lbs). Gotta get the arms ready for that wedding dress!

I also did 90 bicycle crunches–surprisingly, my abs are actually sore from my long run yesterday! Weird, huh?

I burned about 225 calories in 45 minutes.  That’s why I prefer running! šŸ™‚

Post-Workout Breakfast

This this great breakfast place in Palm Coast, Florida called the "Java Joint."  Future Husband and I love it, and they make the BEST breakfast burritos.  I tried to recreate their insanely excellent recipe, but I was missing potatoes….

My best burrito included cheddar cheese, 2 eggs, and spinach, all wrapped up in a 100-calorie WW wrap.  Delicious!

Plans

Meghann and I are going to the outlet malls to look for fun running outfits for the 15k, and then we’re going to Whole Foods. AKA, I hope I don’t spend my entire life savings!

I hope you have a fun day! :)  Enjoy your Saturday.
