Even the dogs are starting go to a little nuts. This rain has to stop! Can’t you just hear them crying…. “let me outsideeeeeeee!”?
The long-haired dachshund is my neighbor’s dog. We are babysitting Dexter while she’s on vacation! OK — enough about the cute poochies… on to the workout and food! 🙂
I had a WW pita, PB, and a few strawberries. Right before the gym, my tummy was still rumbling, so I had a small cup of yogurt and cereal. Sorry, no picture!
I had total gym time ADD. I’m not a fan of the gym. It’s great for weight lifting and classes, but I despise running on the treadmill. I feel like a hamster on a wheel! To keep myself from going crazy, I decided to do a complex circuit training.
Here was my workout:
10 minutes weight lifting: squatted bicep curls, weighted lunges, tricep pushdowns (single and dual arms), and Gina’s pec presses (those are hard!).
18 minutes on the treadmill; 2.0 miles of speedwork: 2 minutes at 6.5 mph, then 2 minutes at 7.5 mph, and repeat!
6 minutes on the elliptical
20 minutes or so in a spin class (I left halfway through because I was STARVING!)

Dinner – A Future Husband Creation
Future Husband’s schedule is all thrown off because of Tropical Storm Fay. He missed two out of three days of school this week and both days of work! Since I work from home, my schedule hasn’t been disrupted. While I was working, he went to the gym. So when I went to the gym, he made dinner!
Dinner was some sort of protein-enriched pasta with red peppers, green peppers, and tomato sauce. He baked a nice, juicy chicken and rubbed some yummy herbs all over it. I would’ve asked him what was it in, but I was too busy stuffing my face! 🙂
Tomorrow is a flex day from work. If it’s not raining, I plan to do a nice, long run outside. I love to start the weekend with a good workout!
