Unplanned Evenings

in All Posts

Our plans fell through for tonight, but that’s OK with me.  I need more unplanned evenings!  I decided to take a  long, leisurely walk with the puppies:

My little man is so good:

Look at those chompers!

A boy asked me if Maggie was pregnant.   I think that means it’s time to cut back on the treats.  🙁

Maggie actually has given birth before.  Her previous owners bred her with a beagle (she’s a dachshund) and then they abandoned her and kept the puppies! I can’t really imagine Maggie in labor; she’s such a giant baby herself.  Babies having babies!

Today’s eats:

I had a whole wheat bagel (1/2 topped with an egg and 1/2 topped with blueberry jam) and a Green Monster (almond breeze and spinach) for lunch.

And 2.5 Montana Whoppers (I need to get these out of my house; the are highly addicting):

I snacked on another bowl of fruit:

And dinner was sugar snap peas, cous cous, and pinto beans.  I added a glob of Ranch dressing to the cous cous because it looked so dry.  Yum!

So, the yoga class KILLED ME.  My arms are already sore, which does not bode well for tomorrow.  I have a 12.0-miler planned in the morning (I can’t believe I’m already up to almost half marathon distances for training!), so I’m going to hit the sack early.  If I get hungry before bed, I might have some toast and PB or another piece of fruit.

Have a WONDERFUL Saturday!

Good luck on the 12! I hope to do something longish tomorrow but it's supposed to hit 32 overnight! Yikes that's cold

Lol, I read this in google reader and it said, "if I get hungry before bread." You must have food on the brain!

Good luck on the 12 miler. That's awesome.

Aw, I can't believe they did that to Maggie. Some people really are monsters. Glad you had a relaxing night, it's nice to have nights like that sometimes.

    I can't resist cookies either!

I love unplanned evenings as well. They're so relaxing. Your puppies are just too cute, thanks for sharing pictures of them with us!

"Babies having babies" – hilarious. Sorry he made you feel bad about Maggie. She looks great to me!

I love the 1/2 and 1/2 bagel idea. I can never decide what I want on my bagels!

My beagle was overweight. She was adorable!

A 12 miler! That's awesome. I can't even fathom that long of a run yet. It has to feel awesome to be able to run almost half the marathon distance!

I don't know how anyone could ever abandon a dog … that just breaks my heart. Maggie looks like such a sweetheart 🙂

The dogs are soooo adorable! Cute pics!

I can't imagine running 12 miles, so I am thoroughly impressed. You'll rock them!

Aw, the doggies look so cute!!

I hopeyou get some rest and that your arms feels better!

I have been debating doing a gentle yoga class at the gym but I'm so intimidated! All those yoga girls seem so "into it." I am so unflexible that I'm afraid I'll stick out like a sore thumb. Good for you for going for it!

Unplanned evenings are the best. This weekend has been the first time in a LONG time that I have been able to do 100% what I want to do. No plans at all 🙂 I may just be being a lazy bum…

Those cookies look delish! I've seen them on all of you Orlando ladies blogs. Killin' me. Today I am making cake balls though, so check back on my blog this evening for some food porn!

  • seesaraheat September 22, 2009, 9:13 am

Your doggies are so precious! Some lady actually called my dog fat the other day, but I wasn't TOO offended, lol.

I need sugar snap peas back in my life, stat! Yum.
