Progressive Rummy

in All Posts

We’re playing an intense game of progressive rummy, and I’m currently WINNING! 🙂

Our healthy BBQ was quite a mission.  Not only did it rain on our table, but we almost blew up the grill:

We also ended up burning a few of the kebobs and corn on the cobs, but it all turned out alright in the end:

My plate included a black bean veggie burger (ate 1/2), salad, and some beans and rice.  I skipped the bun because I had so many other good eats to choose from!

Grilled veggies:

Potato and corn on the cob:

And for dessert, a slice of Key Lime Pie:

After this game is over, I’m hitting the hay to get in a nice long run in the AM.  Can’t wait!  🙂

Are you good at cards?  Normally, I’m terrible.  This is just a fluke!

Could I be any more jealous of your in laws fridge. As I realized on my recent vacation with my inlaws – there's is full of anything with white flour or sugar, and a heck of a lot of meat, uhhhhhh 🙁

Ooh sounds like so much fun! The only card game I'm good at is Euchre. Love, love, love euchre!

That looks like a great BBQ!
Lots of excitement and I love card games, although not good at any!

My grandmother and I used to play Rummy all the time when I was growing up. She called it Rummy 500 bc the person who got 500 points first wins. (not sure if that's a normal rule or not)
PS-She always used to kick my arse! lol

That key lime pie looks soo good. Was it healthy, too? Is that even possible? haha, If someone figured out how to healthify the key lime pie there needs to be a recipe posted for that

Haha I LOVE Rummy! Normally I do alright at card games – I don't usually win, but I don't come in last either.

I think I missed the part of growing up where people learn card games. I know solitaire and that's pretty much it, how sad is that?

Great healthy BBQ – so many choices!

We used to play rummy when I was young but I haven't played for years!

I suck at cards! My favourite is Crib though, but I still suck at that 😛

Wonderful bbq despite all the setbacks! I usually opt for no bun too. It's way too filing with, especially when there's delicious sides to choose from 🙂

    I stink at cards. MAJOR.

Good luck with your run in the a.m.:)
