An Eye Full

Embarrassing story:  I woke up and stumbled blindly into the hallway.  On the way to the living room, I slipped my arms out of my PJ top so it was around my waist and started to put my bra on — that’s when I realized  my little brother-in-law was sleeping on the couch! AHHHH!! I’m pretty my entrance woke him up and he saw everything

I’m STILL blushing.  Note to self:  put on clothes before walking around the house (or at least checking to make sure no one stayed over!).

At least my breakfast was superb:

I made Egg White French Toast and topped it with blueberries (with maple syrup on the side for dipping). I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again — egg whites make the crunchiest FT there is!

And a bowl of watermelon:

And a coffee.

I’m going to take the puppies on a walk and then do some reading (for fun). Yay!  Later, I’m going to hit the road for a 30 mile bike ride.

Off to go find my dignity! šŸ™‚

Oh nooo, embarrassing! šŸ™ Just try to laugh it off as much as possible, I guess. He’ll probably forget it by next week (or maybe he didn’t see it at all!).

Thanks for the egg white tip; I’ll keep that in mind since the BF is a ginormous French toast fanatic!

  • eatingjourney May 17, 2009, 6:15 am

That is so funny. What book are you currently reading? I made a goal to read 10 classic novels by Dec 09. I am currently on book 1: To Kill a Mocking Bird..have you read it?

Sorry about the embarrassing morning! My freshman year of college I lived on a coed floor with coed (!!!) bathrooms. One of my male hallmates walked by my shower stall as I opened up the shower curtain and looked for my towel. He got a full view. Oy vey.

Nice! Sometimes we’re able to influence our family into better eating habits, and sometimes its vice versa. I’ve been trying to get my parents to start working out, and its finally start to work. Great job!

  • Graze With Me May 17, 2009, 10:23 am

Oh no, that is embarrassing. It happens to the best of us though. I’ve gotten out of a hot tub at a party before without noticing that half my top had slipped up and I was completely exposed. Noone even told me! I looked down and saw it like 10 min later!

Good idea using just egg whites for french toast. I might have to give that a try soon.
