Good evening!  I skipped my cross training because I thought I was getting together with some friends for poker, but alas… our plans fell through.  At least I got a lot of Law and Order time in.  🙂

Mid-afternoon snackies:

Dates around 5:30 to hold me through to dinner:

Dinner was super simple… which is always good!  I just didn’t want to slave away in the kitchen tonight.

1 cup of minestrone

+ an English muffin with cottage cheese and a carrot.

And…. for dessert:  a piece of chocolate + a glass of milk.

Fun Fact:  Did you know only 3% of mammals mate for life?   I’m watching one of those awkward Discovery channel shows about the science of sex… it’s making me nervous! :)  But I’m learning tons of totally useless facts.

I can’t find Chobani brand yogurt anywhere – do you know if it’s just on the east coast?

This is sort of random, but have you ever seen Meerkat Manor on Animal Planet? It’s one of the most unique and awesome shows on TV, and if you like Discovery, you might enjoy!

I love those shows. Have you ever seen ‘Planet Earth’. I watch it drooling and totally engrossed.

Do you make your own dinners, or does your husband eat as well with you?

  • Meg April 8, 2009, 6:39 pm

michelle- due to the husband’s school schedule, sometimes he eats with me and sometimes he doesnt. you can usually tell the nights i cook for both of us because its a
“real meal”. when i kind of just slap stuff together (like this post) i’m not cooking for two. but yes he eats all the healthy stuff i make for him! we eat dinner together like 80% of the time.
