Morning!  Sorry for the delay in posting. This morning has been a hectic whirlwind, but I’m getting so much stuff done AND I am feeling very positive about my 3 races this weekend.

I woke up at 5:45 AM to eat breakfast with my Dad before taking him to the airport.

CIMG2385 I made us one of my favorite breakfasts — Pecan Pancakes! MMM!

After driving Dad to the airport around 6:45 AM, I came home and did some work (even though today is my day off!).  I didn’t get a document out yesterday that really needed to be done this week.  But it luckily only took me an hour!

…Which meant I had time to make the 8:30 AM yoga class!

I am soooo glad I went to yoga this morning.  I left feeling strong, centered, and totally confident about this weekend.  Yoga always allows me to focus and visualize the finish line more clearly — I did a yoga class the day before my first half marathon and it really helped me out mentally.

We did about 1 million sun salutations, which is my favorite yoga move because of the fast pace.  I do really love just laying on the mat in child’s pose (I tend to drift off), but its nice to get MOVIN’, too!

After a quick stop at the grocery store, I came back to the house and snacked on an orange….

Now I’m going to take the dogs to the park, pack, eat lunch, and generally pull my life together.  Meghann is coming over around 4 PM to carpool to Tampa.  I can’t believe I’m running 3 races this weekend — more than 25 miles!  I’m so excited.

I’ll be back for lunch!  See you then.

(PS – I’ll be blogging as normal all weekend, so you can follow me through my crazy insane race weekend!)

HAVE A GREAT FRIDAY!!!
