I’ve got my race face on!!! Can’t wait to kick arse on the 15K and 5K tomorrow morning.
The drive to Tampa was no big deal… we didn’t even hit traffic! Meghann and I snacked on these Pop Chips. Can you believe this whole bag only has 360 calories?!
When we arrived in Tampa, we were pleasantly surprised to discover Meghann’s friend had picked up our race packets! They came in these cute reusable bags.
Yay for free shirts!
Derek, Meghann, and I headed to dinner rather early so we could fuel up for our races!
They’re cute together, huh? 😉
I started with a Japanese beer called a Kirin (beer counts as carb-loading, right?).
And ordered a Coconut Chicken Curry brown rice bowl for my main entree.
This was wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too much food. I suspect there was 3 cups of brown rice! I ate about 2/3.
But it was good!
Dessert was a 1/2 a Heath Bar Blondie baked by Amanda, who mailed it to Meghann and I! How sweet. These were amazing!
