Today is a very good day!
It’s been a long time coming, but we finally executed the lease for our clinic’s new office space. The place that the Husband and my father-in-law have been practicing in for the last two years was always envisioned as temporary space, and our practice has grown to the point that we need a bigger, better clinic. We are now in the nicest space imaginable and in an even better location – right across the street from the new hospital. I did a lot of the negotiating and budgeting, two things that I never considered myself very good at… until now! Maybe this new office manager hat fits better than I thought. 
We move in 30 days.

And now I’m back at home, taking off the office manager hat to pull on the mommy hat. A nice switcheroo.
Lunch:
Another sunflower seed mix, this time with brown rice, lentils, corn, kale, and Earth Balance butter. Yum.

Congratulations! That’s VERY exciting!
I can’t even imagine how much work owning a small business would be. Brag today? Hmm… I survived another day in third grade. My students are getting wilder each day. Halloween is quickly approaching. haha
CONGRATS! I haven’t accomplished anything exciting today, but I’m looking forward to celebrating a win from last weekend with the cheerleading squad I coach tonight at practice

I’m considering the fact that I got today off from work a success but I’m finding my studying is leaving much to be desired. At least I’m seeing some of the aspects of my studying that I need to spend more time on – ie: basic exercise science. All that science stuff is just really hard for me…boo!
I got up early to exercise before work! Granted, I start work late-ish (9:00), so my getting up “early” is when plenty of people are already at work, but still, for me, it was awesome!
I also registered for my first marathon last night! It’s next October. It’s been great reading your and other blogs, and seeing that it’s possible to work towards such a huge thing.
I got up and worked out at 5:30am! Woot! That’s twice in the last week (which is awesome because I haven’t been able to get my butt out of bed in about 2-3 months!). I also crushed a huge meeting I had this afternoon that I was super nervous about!

I am going to look at a new (well, used, but new for me) car this afternoon. It would be the first car I’ve bought on my own without negotiating help from my parents, so I am nervous, but I know I have done my research and prepared and am ready to get the best deal and the best possible financing. Bring it on!

I got my 2.5 year old and my 4 month old to nap at the same time!! It only lasted 15 minutes but I still felt like a super-mom.
Congrats on being a great negotiator and budgeter. That sounds weird, but anyway… Congrats on the new office space! I am proud that I forced myself to go the gym today. After a week off of exercise due to business travel (and jet lag), I went for a run on my lunch hour. It felt AWESOME!
Congratulations! I love reading everyone’s successes, big and small, today. This is a happy exercise to practice. My successes were small but sweet today. I finished up a hard section of a policy manual I’m working on. AND I finally mailed two birthday gifts I had meaning to send for the longest time!
congrats! that is so great that you guys have been so successful right away…quite the accomplishment! i just changed my car insurance today and save $450 on my 6 month premium…i don’t know if i should proud or annoyed that i was paying so much more for so long! either way yay to saving money!

My success are small but important: I got through another day at my day job (lawyer), which can be extremely challenging sometimes. Also like Natalie @Free Range Human, I have been working very hard on my night job (blogger) and have now reached several days of over 100 page views!

I ran four miles today!!! That’s pretty amazing considering I haven’t run that long since…. last summer & I’m coming off shoulder surgery that forced me to not run for four months. Congrats… today is a great day for me too!
