I’m back! (From Comment #31) After watching the segment I just have to say THANK YOU! I was almost felt on the verge of tears watching the segment because the Operation Beautiful message hits so close to home for me. I’ve spent the last two years jumping between obsessing over weight/calories, restricting like crazy, and binging as my only tool to deal with emotions. The cycle completely destroyed my self-esteem over time, and I’m just now starting to rise from the ashes and take back my body/mind from my disordered past. Thank you thank you thank you for starting a movement to raise women up! You are doing a truly inspirational, BEAUTIFUL thing!

This sounds weird, I read your blog all the time but it is the first time I’ve heard your voice and during all the readings I never once thought about what your voice sounds like. I pre-ordered your book from Amazon and it say’s it will be here today! I bought it for my mom who I love, but has always “fat talker”. I know how it affected me and now I see her projecting it on my 13 year old niece that struggles with being overweight. I want to try to open her eyes to how life changing positive reinforcement can be before my newborn daughter is old enough to understand her.

Good job in the interview! I put up a post-it note in the bathroom at my gym, when I left it I felt so happy. After my workout I came back in to see if it was there and it wasn’t. It was in the trash
. Oh well, it made me feel good doing it and even if the person throwing it in the trash didn’t appreciate it, hopefully someone did!!
