Oh My, Montana Whoppers!

I fulfilled two Things I Need to Do More Often tonight!

First, I posted an Operation Beautiful note per TINTDMO #11:

I wore my hair in a new style per TINTDMO #9…. side pigtail!   Maybe I’ll be more adventurous with my hair from now on!  It wasn’t SO scary.

Continuing Breakfast Day, I had an omelette with spinach and sun-dried tomatoes and a few Everything Crackers for dinner:

These were great!

For dessert, I made Montana Whoppers, a recipe by Michelle.  After Meghann baked them earlier in the week, I have NOT been able to stop thinking about them!  I hardly ever bake in the middle of the week, but this was totally worth the effort.

I replaced some of the peanut butter with Barney Butter almond butter (I’m not a huge PB-cookie person) and instead of chocolate chips, I mixed in sweetened coconut.

Highly recommend these cookies!  I am bringing these cookies to the running group tomorrow AM to give some away.  :)

Snacks included a crushed Kashi TLC bar with yogurt:

Cashews:

Toast with PB around 5 PM:

Green Monster (spinach and almond breeze) around 6:30 PM:

The Office is on!  Thank goodness for decent television again!

I've been dreaming about those cookies since I saw them on Meghann's blog too! Now I'm going to have to break down and make them!

I'm so excited for The Office, too! Yay for good fall TV to start again. :)

Those cookies look amazing. I never bake- ever. But all of you bakers are starting to inspire me… maybe I should buy some flour and a rolling pin?

Also, your hair looks super cute in a pigtail- in my humble opinion!

We got this email today about a holiday cookie swap (I guess instead of a party, ugh) and my mind immediately went to those cookies.

I have been thinking of those cookies for days! My husband Matt is off tomorrow and I have left all the ingredients for them on the counter with the hope I come home from work with homemade cookies!

Did you have to chill the dough like it says in the recipe? Or did you just skip it?

Yummy, omelet, I love them so! And, the yogurt bowl looked good too. =) Laura

P.S. I like the side ponytail, I do that often, my hair is quite long and it works great in the summer.

Caitlin, I stop by to read your blog a few times a week and you are looking prettier every time I stop by. I don't know if you are wearing makeup in the photo above, but you look gorgeous and your hair is adorable like that! It really makes me wish I still had long hair so I could copy it :)
