Good evening! Sorry for the extremely late post, I was carving pumpkins with MeghannPresenting Jack (on the right) and Jackie (on the left)….

And we made pumpkin seeds!  We did three different varieties (salty, sweet, and spicy).  Pictures and recipes coming tomorrow!

Before our Halloween festivities, Meghann and I went to the gym and did an INTENSE spin class and then a RELAXING yoga class.

Sping was super challenging and fun! I just love doing jumps on the bike and speed intervals.  Here are my statistics from spin:

  • Duration: 59 minutes
  • Average Heart Rate: 147  bpm
  • Maximum Heart Rate: 190 bpm
  • Calories Burned: 427

In between spin and yoga, I drank a Muscle Milk Light Cookies and Cream smoothie (1 scoop + water), which I brought in a little zip-a-loc baggie to the gym.

And then we did a 1 hour power yoga class, which felt awesome, as usual….  I think one of my life goals is to be able to do Warrior 3 without falling over.

We came home and ate a quick dinner while carving pumpkins.  I had 1 cup brown rice, 1/2 a sweet potato, broc, and some leftover chicken.

Other Eats of the Day

My two mid-day snacks consisted of yogurt + cereal

And around 4 PM, I had two pieces of WW toast, some PB, and 1/2 a banana….

And before spin and yoga, I had a glass of milk blended with 1/2 cup of frozen peaches…

Good night! Sleep tight! 🙂

wow. that is an INTENSE two hour workout!! do you ever feel like you’re overdoing it? two hours is somewhat excessive… in my opinion

anon – hi there! no, i don’t think today was intense at all, especially because the second hour was yoga… which is basically laying on the ground. 🙂 plus, you’re talking to a woman who usually runs 25 – 30 miles on a week and just completed a half marathon! 🙂 it was a great way to spend 2 hours with a friend (meghann) and i actually found it to be quite a relaxing work out. most of my daily work outs only last an hour or so.
