Wooooo. I had toooooo much alcohol at the picnic! I started things off with a Harvest Moon Pumpkin Ale.
The boys played soccer while Meghann and I laid like lazy bums on a blanket with the dogs. I had a turkey, ham, provolone, cheddar, and lettuce sub. I also had some fruit salad.
I also had some Blue Corn Chips and salsa. Maggie enjoyed lounging on the blankie, too.
I just keep drinkin’ and loungin’. I never got up to play soccer! But I did have another brew-haha.
It was a relaxing way to spend a Sunday afternoon. My legs feel quite sore still, so I was thankful for the day off from exercise.
Sorry I was so short and sweet today. I’m pretty pooped from my Half Marathon… see you tomorrow. I’ll explain my upcoming running training program in the morning… I can’t wait for my next race!
***Edited to add:
I just had dinner. I made lemon-pesto pasta with plain baked tofu and broc.
I made a goat cheese cream sauce using 1/4 cup skim milk, 1/8 cup goat cheese, dash of dried parsley and pepper, and a tablespoon of water. I heated the sauce ingredients in a skillet for about 4 minutes and then added the cooked tofu, pasta, and broc to the mix.
It was divine! I also had a small roll (not pictured).
Good night!
