Good morning.  I had the BEST LAUGH this morning and it was exactly what I needed to get my day off on the right foot. I literally just laughed so hard I cried — YouTube is hysterical!

I subscribe to a few great Twilight blogs and one posted this "Fan Reaction" to the New Moon Trailer.  These girls are so freaking funny (and the best part is that I think my reaction was the same!):

HAHAH!  Um, would you make fun of me if I told you that I also burst into tears at the end?  Because I totally did!  🙂 If you haven’t watched the trailer yet, check it out here

Moving on….

Breakfast was just a basic bowl of oatmeal:

CIMG5719

My oatmeal contained:

  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Sliced banana
  • Toppings: brown sugar, blueberries, and almonds

Yum!

10 Minute 4 Minute Strength Routine

I was running short on time this AM so I had to cut my strength routine a little short!

I did:

  • 30 push-ups
  • 10 decline push-ups
  • A lot of stretching!

Have a great day!

What is the one book, concert, or movie you have so eagerly anticipated?  I was excited about the last Harry Potter book, but the Twilight phenomena takes it to a whole new level.

That video is hilarious. I can't imagine being that excited about a book lol… I haven't read/seen Twilight, and now I feel like I'm missing out!

I used to get excited about LOST episodes but never to the point of tears… that's true Fan dedication!!

  • Lauren June 3, 2009, 4:25 am

  • Mrs. LC June 3, 2009, 4:32 am

  • Stacey June 3, 2009, 4:58 am

Ha, I'm on the second Harry Potter right now, I've read the Twilight series, but seriously didn't think that the movie did the book justice!

I am anticipating the Aerosmith concert I will be attending on JULY 9th!!!!!! HUGE aerosmith fan!!

I hope that the New Moon movie will be better than Twilight, they switched directors, so it should be interesting to see how it turns out!

  • healthyfitmama June 3, 2009, 5:08 am

I'm a HUGE Pearl Jam fan. I've seen them in concert 9 times. Last summer, I saw them 3 times in 2 weeks! I had never looked forward to something so much in my life! Haha

  • seesaraheat June 3, 2009, 5:11 am

Hahaha, that cracked me up! No, I would never make fun of you 😉 We all have our "things". I have yet to get into Twilight but I'm a big Harry Potter fan so I'll be seeing that movie this summer. I did read all those books.

I'm a huge Goo Goo Dolls fan and they are working on a new album (and tour hopefully!) so that's what I'm eagerly anticipating right now 😉

    Have a great day!

  • Defining Wellness June 3, 2009, 5:17 am

I'm really looking forward to Harry Potter in July! I'll make a trip of it and go with my husband, brothers, and Mom. It's such a fun summer movie!

  • Karin June 3, 2009, 5:22 am

  • Melissa June 3, 2009, 5:38 am

I get really excited for the Harry Potter books, but I also got super excited to read the subsequent books in the Golden Compass trilogy!! I haven't tried reading the Twilight series yet, but those girls sure do promote it well!

  • Jaime (Embracing Balance) June 3, 2009, 5:51 am

I am DYING for the second season of True Blood. Thank God it's only a couple of weeks away now.

    You are tooooo cute!

  • Angie All The Way June 3, 2009, 5:52 am

  • Sam June 3, 2009, 5:54 am

I'm seeing Britney on Sunday night and I'm so ridiculously excited. I've been in love with her since I was about 11 years old! And yes, Harry Potter definitely. I even queued up outside the book store at midnight to get my hands on it!

  • Island Girl Eats June 3, 2009, 6:01 am

I just finished reading Twilight and my Mom has sent it for my husbands birthday on Saturday. I can't wait to watch it – I think that I am more excited than my husband is!

    BAHAHAHHAHA that is hilarious!

I was that way about NSync .. CDs, concerts, etc. There were lots of tears and I used to tape ANY tv show they appeared on.

  • Brandi June 3, 2009, 6:23 am

that video was hilarious!!! I STILL have not read TWILIGHT – I guess I better get on it, huh? 🙂

  • Jennifer June 3, 2009, 6:31 am

That video made me laugh! I hope those girls aren't disappointed. I have a feeling they won't be.

  • Tanya June 3, 2009, 6:37 am

Oh gosh – I hate to admit it but I haven't read not one Twilight book or anything. I've been meaning to!

  • recipesforcreativity June 3, 2009, 6:40 am

    That video cracked me up!

I hate to say it, but it seems like I'm becoming a crotchety old person at 29, because I simply cannot remember the last time I was obsessed with a movie/book/tv show. I like TV. I like movies. But I miss that feeling of the absolute thrill you get every time someone you obsess over appears!

I will say, though, I've been obsessed with Eddie Vedder since I was 13 and still get a little crazy when I see him or hear him singing. If you don't know who that is then I am older than I thought.

  • Cryst June 3, 2009, 6:40 am

    THAT WAS JUST TOO FUNNY!!!
I was watching and laughing my guts out my husband got curious and came and watch it with me. So I replayed it and again laughed my guts out. My husband just gave me a weird look and said you're crazy.

  • jenngirl June 3, 2009, 6:44 am

hahha OMG thank you for that!! I am soooo excited about New Moon, I never got into Harry Potter or anything, so this is a "first" for me and book phenomena…

    Have a great day! 🙂

  • Caitlin at Healthy Tipping Point June 3, 2009, 6:45 am

cryst – haha i also just rewatched it and laughed hysterically again. the best part is at the end when the one girl says "I LOVE YOU. THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS MOMENT OF EXCTASY WITH ME."

  • Fitnessista June 3, 2009, 6:48 am

ahhhhahahaha i'm cracking up. the girl on the right was hyperventilating. hilarious.
november can't get here soon enough!

  • K from ksgoodeats June 3, 2009, 7:06 am

    HAHA!

I love the quote on your coffee mug – so true 🙂

  • Shannon (The Daily Balance) June 3, 2009, 7:14 am

I too adore twilight — even though I think the books are 10x better. awesome vidoe — too funny!

  • Jenn June 3, 2009, 7:27 am
  • Amanda (Two Boos Who Eat) June 3, 2009, 7:31 am

I used to LOVE Hanson. That was pretty insane! I chased their tour bus after seeing them on Jay Leno!!! lol lol lol!

  • Niki June 3, 2009, 7:32 am

Haha! That was so funny!! I am very excited for New Moon!!

  • elliebelle June 3, 2009, 7:37 am

I was dying to see the Sex and the City movie when it came out. I went opening weekend it was sooo much fun!
Also, I was super excited for He's Just Not That Into You. Again, went opening weekend – the theater was packed. It was fun! And yesterday, it came out on DVD, so I bought it!!!! 🙂
I'll have to watch that Twilight video when I get home (probably shouldn't watch it at work! eek!)
    Can't wait!!!

  • Ris June 3, 2009, 7:53 am

AHHHHHH!!! haha that was totally bot me and the girl i tutor, she called me 5 times on sunday to remind me to watch it … SO GOOD!

  • Michelle June 3, 2009, 7:57 am

Sadly, I am at work and can't watch the video right now…but I definitely plan on it later when I have time and nobody's around, because I can already tell it's gonna be hilarious, especially seeing all the other commenters and their reactions! I'm eagerly awaiting the release of Jodi Picoult's "My Sister's Keeper" in theaters. I'm not a huge Cameron Diaz fan, and I don't really see her in the role she's playing (My Sister's Keeper is my FAVORITE book ever) but I'm still excited to see it! Jodi Picoult is my favorite author, so I count down the months until her new books come out every time their is a new one on the horizon! 🙂

    Have a great day Caitlin!

  • Jennifer June 3, 2009, 8:04 am

Oh those girls!!! I want to watch the next movie with them! They were so cute! I did just the same thing! 🙂 haha Thanks for sharing!

  • Amanda June 3, 2009, 8:05 am

Hey caitlin! Hopefully this isnt too random of a question…but i looove coffee and i recently just switched from using the fake yucky sugar free coffeemate to regular half and half. Since this is something i drink on a daily basis, so you think the addition of fat from the cream will add to weight gain? Hope that doesnt sound too silly! Thanks!

  • Caitlin at Healthy Tipping Point June 3, 2009, 8:09 am

amanda – that is totally NOT a silly question 🙂 good for you for switching to the more natural and less chemically half and half! thats what i drink too. no, i dont think you'll gain weight from the change – one tablespoon of half and half has like 45 calories in it and a little goes a lot way — its a very neglible change that won't make a difference in your diet. drink up! cheers to real cream!!!!!!

  • Jenny June 3, 2009, 8:18 am

hahahhaha i am DYING thanks for this girl – it made my life! I totally wanna track those girls down and watch new moon with them when it comes out – i think we would get along just fine ;)!

  • Sara June 3, 2009, 8:22 am

Oh my gosh, that video is TOO funny! Is that one girl crying? Ha ha ha! Though I love Twilight as much as the next person, this video makes me feel better knowing that I'm not THAT obsessed! 🙂

I'm looking forward to the new Harry Potter movie and of course, New Moon.

  • Anne June 3, 2009, 8:26 am

Hahaha that video is hilarious! I didn't think the girl on the right's mouth could open any wider during the trailer, lol! And I was sure they were going to pass out at the end!

  • Melissa @ For the Love of Health June 3, 2009, 8:26 am

Hi Caitlin! That is funny! haha
Amazing looking oats! Great start to a day!

I don't get overly excited for things for some reason. I look forward to things but I am definitely not the type to go opening night to a movie or stand in line at a book store for a book. haha am I weird? haha I prefer a little leisurely approach.. 🙂

    Have a great day!

  • meegie lee June 3, 2009, 9:14 am

harry potter in july! a group of 15 or so have plans to go see it. every time a new trailer comes out we pass it along. soooo excited!

and of course, twilight in november…

  • Katy June 3, 2009, 9:24 am

Did you see this one? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLvNGZjMt8I

Perez tweeted it yesterday. Definitely amusing.

  • Anonymous June 3, 2009, 9:54 am

thanks for posting that video, it so made my day! hahahaha awesomee

  • Susan June 3, 2009, 10:03 am

Okay, am I the only one who didn't like the trailer? New Moon is actually my favourite book of the series so maybe my expectations are a little too high.

I'd say I anticipated Harry Potter book 5 the most out of anything. I had it delivered to my doorstep the morning it came out. My mom said she's never seen me happier than when I opened up that package!! 😛

  • Kiersten June 3, 2009, 10:34 am

I have read all the Harry Potter books and have seen all the movies that are out. I LOVE them. I always pre-ordered my books in advance and counted down the days until they were released. I even went one year to Barnes & Noble at midnight the night it came out. There was a big Harry Potter party and people were dressed up like the characters. I wasn't THAT obsessed, but it was really fun to witness all of that.

I actually haven't read any of the Twilight books yet or seen the movie. I have been meaning to though, so I can see what all the hype is about.

  • katecooks June 3, 2009, 10:51 am

i just had to watch this without sound and it's still pretty hysterical!!!!! their faces = awesome. i think i look like that when i am at goo goo dolls concerts. once i saw them playing for carson daly and the lead singer (johnny, sigh!!!) TOUCHED MY HAND and i got his guitar pick. i almost died. i have to hold my heart so it doesn't leap out of my body. so hmmmm yeah i know what you are talking about LOL

  • The Healthy Apple June 3, 2009, 11:27 am

I'm glad to hear you felt good running…I'm in the same boat as you, my dear…my knees are so bad and I had to stop running last year…I miss it so much but honestly, everytime I want to up the speed on the treadmill and run, I just think of getting knee surgery and the pain/scar/healing process…yuck!!!! Keep your head up and stick with biking—I'm loving biking and I switched to that when I stopped running.
    Have a great day.
Also, maybe try powdered ginger (organic) from Whole Foods…I sprinkle this on my tofu with olive oil and chili powder and it's delish….let me know if you try it and what your taste buds think of it!
    Best,
    The Healthy Apple

Thank you for posting this video Cailtlin! I've never laughed so hard in my lifeeeee….THOSE GIRLS!!!! So hilarious, especially those last few seconds and their reaction to the wolf scene!

  • Kath June 4, 2009, 4:46 am

Alright Caitlin. You got me to watch the ENTIRE video of the girls (totally hilarious), which had me totally intrigued about what the trailer was really like, so I went to watch the entire trailer. Can I say I was a little disappointed!? Those girls had me believing what they saw was truly miraculous! LOL. I'd like to start reading the Twilights. I bet I'd like them. Not sure as much as the girls though 🙂

  • eatingbender June 4, 2009, 4:08 pm

Caitlin, I love it when you post about Twilight news! I am seriously going to subscribe to that blog now. That reaction video was awesome – and also, totally how I reacted, too! Ah I love it so much!

I feel the same way about Harry Potter. I can't wait for the 6th movie, and I just reread the 7th book. It was so good the second time around!
