I want to clarify one of my statements made on the Good, Bad, and the Ugly of Food Blogs post. When I said I delete negative comments, I did not mean "dissenting" comments. Some of you took this remark out of context — I do NOT delete opinions that differ from mine or constructively criticize; in fact, I ask for opinions about stuff on a semi-regular basis, and it would be muy boring if we all had the same opinion.
I delete comments such as "You are ugly" or "I hate you." These are negative comments with no value except to degrade me, so I delete them.
Onto your regularly scheduled blogging…
My mid-afternoon snacks consisted of the usual cereal, but without yogurt (we were all out). So, it was cereal-cereal. 🙂
And around 4:30 PM, I had some Amazing Grass mixed with almond breeze:
I thought the Berry flavor was pretty good – I tend to chug these things anyway, so I didn’t really notice.
And I had a Amy’s Kitchen healthy "pop tart." I wanted something sweet, but we don’t normally keep candy in the house… this did the trick!
Night job sucked. Not going to lie! I just wasn’t feeling it — in fact, I think I’m getting a little sick!
I ate the other half of my dinner around 8:45, which is when I got home:
I made a delicious black bean quesadilla with a Flat Out wrap, 1/2 cup of black beans, 1 serving of cheddar cheese, and some kale. I just folded over the wrap and pressed it in my George Foreman.
I HATE splitting my dinner into two portions like this (a snack around 4:30 – 5 and then the second half when I get home). It just is not as satisfying, but I can’t figure out a way around it (without chewing off my arm).
Meghann is coming over soon! I can’t wait to give her my "marathon gift":
A 26.2 bumper sticker! Every marathoner needs one. 🙂 I have a 13.1 sticker that I’m pretty damn proud of, too!
What bumper stickers do you have?
- A 13.1 bumper sticker
- A University of Pittsburgh sticker
- A Obama-Biden sticker (!!)
- And a "Mind the Gap" London sticker
