Too Freaked to Type

I am way too freaked out to type. We’re going to make this short. I am now watching the election, screaming at the TV, and generally wanting to hurl.

After work, I did a 3.2 minute run in 28 minutes and burned 277 calories. Which is good because I’m now slamming beers (I project three in total).

I am too engrossed in election coverage to make dinner. I had a PB sammie with a banana.

Other eats:

A plum.

A slice of WW toast with Laughing Cow.

A small portion of yogurt and granola.

An a carrot stick, which Robo-Maggie and James seemed very interested in.

OK – sorry to be so short. I need to go stare at the TV.

GO OBAMA!

LOL! I just looked at the NY times website and gave my screen the finger! They have McCain winning florida right now. I know it can change, but freaks me out too! I’m getting off work right now and heading to the bar. A vodka tonic will help!

I’m there with you, girl!

I will be glued to the tv for the rest of the night! Right now McCain is ahead in VA, but they haven’t included northern Virginia yet. We are much more progressive up here. 😉

I’m pulling for Obama, but I kinda hope it’s close because I have tons of respect for McCain. I’m such a softy! In my world, there would be no losers.

I am about to have a nervous breakdown right now!! And glugging white wine at the same pace as you and your beers 😉 This is ZERO HOUR.

By the way, I really do think the 2000 election has scarred Florida Dems for life… so many of my friends up here are already elated or optimistic, and I’m this basketcase, totally conditioned to expect the worse. YES WE CAN!!!!

I really want to know the answers to these questions too- I know they sound odd… but
Why do you think Obama will do a good job?

I never heard him say HOW he is going to get laws/policies changed? Can he just change whatever without having anyone approve before hand?

I’m serious- I don’t know- not that I don’t like him- i just haven’t read or seen anything from him about it…and I am really interested in knowing!

omg i’m totally with you on the anxiety…i coudln’t stand being in my house so i left and went for an hour walk in hopes of passing election time!! it’s KILLING me!!

Don't worry, Caitlin! Obama is definitely gonna WIN!!!!!! I know what you mean- I've been a nervous wreck all day! I voted this mornning and fortunately the line was short and moved really quickly! No running for me for the last three days 🙁 My "cold" has gotten worse & today I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with bronchitis. My coughing is insane. I hope it clears up quickly. I am going CRAZY not being able to run, but I don't want to make things worse for my body.
