Good morning!

Homemade pumpkin yogurt – so easy.  Just combine equal parts vanilla Greek yogurt and pureed pumpkin with a little DIY Pumpkin Spice. Tada!  Instant pumpkin yogurt.

I got my hair cut yesterday… Two cuts in like three months, after not getting it cut at all for nine months.  I feel so pulled together, hah.

And today, since we were up at the crack of dawn (Daylight Savings is really messing up my universe, y’all), we went on a walk with DadHTP.  There is a huge construction project going on near his house, and it has provided endless entertainment over the last few months.  The digger trucks are in serious action these days – even I was entertained.

Another thing: Throwing rocks over… and over… and over… into a lake.  So relaxing.  Especially when you have a kiddo who is more than willing to do the rock hunting for you!

Thought of the Day:

Best thing I’ve seen on the Internet all week… This pretty much sums up my life philosophy, actually.

Have a good one!

That’s a great one! I need to remember it! I love throwing rocks in water, so fun/calming.

Your hair looks cute. Getting a haircut is one of the more relaxing things a person can do (provided the stylist is actually good at what they do). As is taking quiet walks by the lake. I think I might need to do that one today.

They are building an apartment complex right across from my boy’s daycare. SUCH a bit hit with the kids! You’ll often see dad’s and their boys standing and just watching the bulldozers work: )

I love heading home and hanging out with my nephews for that very reason. Hanging out and just lookin’ at digger trucks, or flicking rocks in a pond. I’ve even put together a little treasure hunt for the boys where I wrote down things to find (a big spider, a smooth oval shaped rock, a perfect red leaf) and so on. It also provided endless entertainment for us all 🙂

I LOVE THAT! I’ve saved it to post later next week. I love the pumpkin yogurt idea!

I want to operate a digger so bad. Seriously, I know that sounds crazy and I would be awful at it but I need to at least once in my life. Haha. Your hair looks awesome, by the way!

I hear you loud and clear on daylight savings. The 3 month old just starting sleeping thru the night… now our 6AM-ish waking is creeping into the 5’s and 4’s!
PS I’m hosting a giveaway for nursing mamas on my site of a local girl in my town starting an active, nursing mom clothing line if you want to check it out!

Love that quote! As a teacher I have a wall of motivating and academic quotes in my classroom. That’s another one for me to add!
