I think we can all agree that hummus tastes infinity better when you first open the tub.  Right?

Have a great one!

What is your favorite good lately?  Mine is cranberry sauce.  I finally polished off the Thanksgiving leftovers.  So sad!

Mine is Turkey! We fixed a 21 lb Turkey for two of us on Thanksgiving and now we have lots and lots of leftovers! I love figuring out new things to add Turkey to!

I’m working on the green thing too. I find that it’s more of a struggle during the colder months. Green smoothies and salads don’t seem quite as appealing to me!

I was loving cranberry relish mixed in with oatmeal or in greek yogurt, but I ate the last of it yesterday :( . It’s time for me to get back on track anyway. Green Smoothies and roasted veggies over arugula for this mom to be!

    PS-What’s in your veggie eggs?

WHat do you mean when you first open the tub? You mean you can close it, put it back in the fridge and open it a second or third time? I think I have been doing it wrong forever. Open Hummus = Eaten Hummus in my house! :)

Random-but I don’t know if you’ve heard of this organization-http://www.empowherment.com It’s based in Charlotte. It was started by a childhood friend of mine, and has really gained a lot of momentum over the past year. Your vision with Operation Beautiful and the vision of this organization-“Empowering a continuous network of girls and women of all backgrounds to be leaders in their community through mentorship, talent development, and advocacy.” seem pretty closely aligned. Their one year anniversary is coming up on December 12. You should really check it out. Carrie is awesome, and I could see you two forming a strong alliance.

I’ve been eating chick peas like it’s my job. Roasted, mixed into salads straight out of the can, in hummus form, in stews. Can’t get enough!
